Chapter 9:
"I can't bare to watch this anymore." Jisoo said as she peeked through her hands.
The three younger girls seated next to her felt the same way. "They don't even care that they are children. It makes me so sad, I lost my appetite." Rosé said.
"It's the price people pay for wanting to be an idol." Lisa sighed before taking a bite of her apple.
It was Wednesday, "hell day" the trainees liked to call it. Trainees were forced to wake up at 3am and practice before school.
Once school ended, they would go right back to training until 3am. A full 24 hours of training.
Thank goodness they were were allowed to sleep until 7am on Thursdays or else they would most likely die from exhaustion
The trainees who already graduated got until 8am to sleep in but trainees still in school had to wake up at 7am to prepare for school.
"At least it's almost over." Jennie said. Rosé looked at her in disbelief, "Almost over?! We still have six more hours left!"
"No, I meant the whole situation happening over there." Jennie then pointed to the entrance of the room where a short line of trainees stood.
They were getting weighed before they entered the YG cafeteria.
If any trainees happen to be more than 50kg, they receive some kind of exercise punishment and go back to training once finishing the punishment.
While all of this was happening, you could hear screams coming from the training room next-door.
The new middle school trainees were being forced to get their middle splits and it did not sound pleasant one bit.
The mood suddenly dampened as they thought of training. It wasn't the actual exercise part that scared them, it was the fact that at any moment, one of them could be sent home.
"Hey guys, let's think positive! I mean Lisa and Rosé, you guys came from abroad just to live your dreams. You did not only dream, you took action on your dream, we all did and that is amazing."
"We are here now, we have not been sent home, and we are still YG trainees. Right now, we are Pinkpunk and we will debut together! Let's keep working hard so it can stay like that, alright girls?" Jisoo, the unofficial leader, said.
Rosé and Lisa, the emotional babies of the group, started tearing up while Jennie and Jisoo smiled.
"That's why you're my bias." Rosé said while shedding some tears before chuckles were heard around the table.

"Are you kidding me? My five year old nephew can dance better than half of you in this room! Get it together, will you? You're all dismissed!" The choreographer yelled.
As soon as the teacher left the room, all the trainees fell on the floor of exhaustion. Heck, some were already asleep on the cold hard floor. Jisoo was one of them.
"I'm heading back, if I practice any longer, I will literally die." Rosé said. "I will too.
I need sleep." Lisa said while wiping the sweat off of her forehead.
While Jennie was trying to wake up Jisoo, Rosé was slapping her own cheeks to keep herself awake and Lisa was scanning through the notifications on her phone.
It was an old, small phone and all her company allowed. She was just thankful they never asked to go through it.
She was about to turn it off when a certain logo caught her attention. She received two messages during training.

I'm not letting you get to me again Lisa. I know this is you and you will regret all you have done!
From: Tzuyu
The only reason you won yesterday was because you caught me off guard. Jungkook is mine and will always be mine so just back off before I make you!
Lisa mentally rolled her eyes. 'She really just doesn't know when to stop.'
"Hey, you coming?" Rosé asked in a sleepy voice. "Actually, I'm quite awake so I will stay just a bit longer to practice."
"Are you sure? The walk to the dorm is quite long, you might get tired on the way." Jennie asked.
"I'm fine eonnie. I'll only be a little while longer, don't worry." Lisa gave them a reassuring smile.
"I'll stay with you." Jisoo said while placing a wet towel on her face to help her stay awake. "I need to practice more anyways."
"You're the most tired out of us all, go on and get some sleep, eonnie." Lisa said. She didn't mean to cause this much trouble when she decided to stay a little longer.
"No, you heard the guy earlier. He said I was the worst dancer in the room. I really need to practice more so you guys head back and I'll stay with Lisa."
Lisa was initially going to dance her anger away for another hour or so but with her eonnie there, she knew her mood would be up in no time.
Even though food and Jungkook made Lisa extremely happy, in her eyes, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo were the best thing that ever happened to her.
