"The twist"

Chapter 6

"Zia!!" Nicole shouted "are you heading to your part time job?" she always have that friendly smile. Nicole is one of my friend here in Arcadia. my life changed a lot, first, my name, second-my place, third-my lifestyle and fourth-myself. it's been three months since i run away from home.. i have nothing to stay there anyway. now, I'm living with my own without the help of others. i have my job located at the central place of Arcadia "the shepparton's cafe" after school i go straight for my job, it's hard for me who don't really  know how to do things at home to run errands. but, I'm a fast learner, so now i can serve fifty orders in my time at the coffee shop, and i found it new and fun for my experience. i have my own savings from my allowances from the past, and I'm using it for my schooling, i run away without money from them, so i only have this amount for my school expenses. although i have my own money from my mother, but I'm not going to use any of it for them to track me.

"yeah.." i smiled back.

"here!" she waved me a card.

"what's this?" i grabbed it from her hand in the air.

"my invitation for my birthday." she said happily. "my 18th birthday actually, i am positive for your appearance! oh' Rio is there!" she pointed on Rio's direction and wave. "i have to go kisses!" she flown to Rio's embrace and waved her hand at me for goodbyes.

"Zia please serve this at table two." Sheila at the counter said. i run to the counter and held the food for serving at table two. i walked carefully to the said table and put the ordered coffee on the table and faced the customer. i was star struck a bit when i landed my eyes on him. yes, he is a guy wearing a pair oceanic blue eyes,  smooth shaven face, a nose to climb, a pinkish lips like a baby, a clean cut hair, a shirt with a print "go away!" and a skinny cocky pants with a rubber shoes.

"uhumm.." even his tone, so gorgeous. "are you okay miss?" he added. and the spill broke on me and turn me into red strawberry face. so much for my embarrassment, he is now smirking at me.

"um.. I'm sorry sir. anything you want for additional sir?" i managed to ask but my eyes on the table.

"no thanks.. nice eyes. i like green. and.. nice name also.." he said lookin' at my pin name. i blushed more.

"thank you sir." i mumbled then run out to the kitchen.

"hey.. why is your face so red?" Hayden asked. he is my replacement for my ending timeslot. luckily i don't have to go back anymore, my working time is over..

"i'm tired i guess." i said taking off my apron and walk to my locker.

"bye Zia.." Hayden and Arthur said in chorus. "take care." Arthur added.

"bye guys. thanks!" i said and waved before i closed the door.

my apartment is just a walking distance so i arrived safely and fast. after having a half bath, i dressed on pajamas and crawled to my bed. i remembered about the birthday invitation, and that reminded me about three months ago on my birthday.

"happy birth day jamiella!!" said the crowd.. or should i say. the famous teens on Hollywood's including my siblings and kulliens. grand dad also was there with our very own father, beside him was his soon to be wife and her daughter.

"oh... so you are the princess here huh? the hidden princess? oh... yeah.. i wonder why daddy Carl didn't consider you as his daughter?" Sarah said in a low voice. "you don't know right?" she laughed.

"what is your problem Sarah?" i asked, puzzled on whatever she's talking about.

"oh no.. you don't know? wait, what should i call you? a bastard princess??!" i was numb. and at the same time, puzzled.

"what are you talking about?" i said in angry way and some people look towards us.

"we both are not related to uncle Carl in blood. but sorry to tell you, uncle Carl loves me more than you! and he's marrying my mom soon!" she exclaimed. i felt my blood raised up to my head, and i found my self slapping her and grabbing her hair. kulliens and hadgie grabbed me.

"let her go jamiella!" Samantha shouted angry at me.

"are you okay Sarah?" she said then hugged her while crying. dad and her mother come to near her and dad look at me, that was the first time i saw him in his eyes on me.

"what is this you've done jamiella?! he said angry. "what are you! a kid!?" he added with his fiercest voice. i saw grand dad coming.

"don't you ever shout on jam Carl.!" grand dad said.

"dad.. she's hurting Sarah!"

"and do you think jamiella is not hurting right now for your act? have you even ask her first why she act on hurting her?" grand dad said..

"grand dad.. please stop." Samantha said.

"why Samantha? are you against your sister now?" grand dad exclaimed on her. and i cant hold it anymore.. they are fighting over me i held my self from hadgie and kulliens.

"am i your child?" i asked in front of my dad and everybody was silent.. "i'm sorry for your lost, i'm sorry if mom died because of me, Samantha.." i look on her side. "I'm sorry i took away our mom from you and hadgie.." i turned my eyes to the man in front of me. "it's okay for me if you hate me.. but.. disowning me is beyond.. but if that's what make you happy.. i will never call you father anymore.. i wish for your happiness with your new family." i don't know how i managed to say those word and i turned my eyes to Samantha. "thanks for the party Sam," i turned my back and faced hadgie. "i'm tired.. hadgie thanks." i hugged him and run away. i go straight to grand dad's house... i locked my self inside my room the whole night, and run away the first morning. they don't know where i am right now. but i talk to grand dad online sometime.
