I didn't sleep all that night. I was so tired.
The next morning, I went to the Curtis' house. The boys were still asleep. I laid down on the couch and turned on the TV, I kept switching the channels until I saw the intro to The Monkees. Yay! Love that show. I watched TV until I fell asleep.
Darry woke me up.
"Jackie, what are you doing here, it's early in the morning?"
"I couldn't sleep at my place."
Darry stared at me for a few seconds.
"What's wrong?"
"I just couldn't sleep last night. You mind if I sleep here for a bit?"
"Sure, you can sleep in my room. It's a lot quieter in there. The rest of the boys will be coming and it'll get pretty rowdy."
"Thanks Darry."
"Anytime hon'"
*Darry's POV*
I let Jackie sleep in my room for a little while. Pretty soon, they were all here.
"Can you guys be a bit quiet. Jackie's asleep in my room. She said she didn't sleep at all last night."
"Why'd she come here?" Ponyboy asked.
"I don't know buddy."
"Is she ok?" Two-Bit asked.
"I don't know. When she wakes up, we'll ask her what's going on."
