"I'm so sorry..."

"Save it."

"Come on Harry! I didn't mean to forget. I was just too busy," Juliet shoved her hands into the pockets of her pants.

Harry was sat on the couch by the fire in their common room. A few eighth year students were spread around; playing chess, studying or napping. Hermione and Ron were snuggled together on an armchair, watching the argument unfold.

"Is school really that important that you had to miss another date? You even assured me you wouldn't forget this time," Harry said crossly as he glared daggers towards the fire.

"Listen my love," Juliet crouched down, "You know how important it is for me to prove to everyone I'm a decent person. The Minister himself told me I needed O's in all of my N.E.W.Ts."

"I just don't understand why you can't take a second to spend some time with me," Harry said.

Juliet scooted closer to him and rested a hand on his knee. From her spot on the floor, she stared into Harry's eyes.

"Let me make it up to you. I'll spend the whole day with you tomorrow and I won't even talk about homework or studying at all."

"I don't know Juls," Harry ran his hand through his hair, "I'm getting tired of being stood up."

Juliet glared at him, "I'm tired too Harry!" she shouted and stood up, "I'm trying to work this out for us. I'm trying to balance my life and our life and you're not helping at all."

Harry rolled his eyes.

Juliet yelled out in frustration, "Honestly Potter. When you're ready to be pleasant, come find me," she hissed.

Harry watched her storm up the stairs to her dormitory. He groaned and rested his head in his hands.

"That was rough mate," Ron said.

Harry chuckled darkly, "I know. She hardly ever shouts at me."

Hermione untangled her limbs from Ron and sat next to Harry. He rested his head on her shoulder as she wrapped her arm around him.

"You're both too stubborn," Hermione said, "but we all know you love each other too much to let this go."

"What're you suggesting?"

Hermione sighed, "Either figure out a way to fix this and improve or end it and move on. She needs all the support she can get. You getting upset isn't going to make it easier."

"I just wanted a normal girlfriend."

Hermione pushed Harry off, "Harry James Potter, you were never going to get normal dating the daughter of a dangerous wizard."

Harry rolled the sleeves of his jumper, "Ah, you're right Hermione, I hate it but you're right. I'm going to go talk to her."

"There you go mate," Ron said encouragingly, "she'll forgive you."

"I hope so," Harry smirked, "like you said, I love her too much to let her go."

Harry bade his friends good night and made his way to Juliet's room. He thought it was incredibly lucky that they didn't have charms on the stairs, but maybe Professor McGonagall knew Juliet would need him. Just like he needed her.

Easter holiday around the corner didn't mean another break for the older students, it only meant more work. More work meant more stress, which made it even harder for Juliet to find time for Harry. After their talk though, Harry had become patient and thoughtful.
