Tears pricked Juliet's eyes as she stared into his own bright emerald ones, "I've missed you."

Harry smiled sheepishly before carefully kissing Juliet on the lips. She returned it with as much enthusiasm as she could muster and wrapped her arms around his neck. His nose bumped into hers and he snaked his arms around her waist, holding her tightly.

When she pulled away, all she could do was smile at him. Her first kiss with Harry was a memorable one. She had never felt so at home as she did in his arms. This is what she had been missing for so long and she would never forget it.

That was ripped away from her in an instant. Voldemort appeared next to the couple, terrifying as always, and had his wand pointed at Harry's throat. His eyes flared, almost like fire.

"You promised," Voldemort snarled in Parseltongue.

Juliet tightened her grip around Harry and shook her head, "Please don't hurt him!" she pleaded.

"I told you to never fall in love," he hissed back.

"I can change! I swear," she pushed Harry away, "I never loved him."

"Too late," a flash of green blurred her vision.

"Juli? Juli? Juliet!" Hermione yelled frantically, shaking Juliet's shoulders.

Juliet bolted awake and panted, "Hermione? Oh, I'm so sorry."

"Don't worry about it," Hermione handed her a glass of water, "Another nightmare?"

"Unfortunately," Juliet gulped the water down and placed the empty glass on the nightstand, "At least they're not happening every night."

Hermione winced guiltily, "It does actually. They just don't always wake you up."

Juliet groaned and threw herself against her pillow, "I'm a bloody awful roommate."

"It wasn't as bad when Harry was here. Why doesn't he sleep here anymore?"

"It was causing too many problems apparently. He couldn't sleep very well and it made him a tad grumpy. Bugger, I'm so sorry again Hermione. It's late, go back to bed."

"I can't until I know you'll be alright."

"There's no way I'll be able to fall back asleep," Juliet admitted.

Hermione thought for a moment, "I have an idea that could work. Mind you, if you're uncomfortable with it, we can just forget the whole thing."

"At this point I'll try anything," Juliet chuckled softly and rubbed her tired eyes, "What is it?"

"I could sleep next to you. I'll bring my blanket over and I'll stay up with you. I won't mind, even if you somehow end up cuddling me."

Juliet gaped at her, "You would do that for me? I didn't think you liked me enough to ever suggest such a thing."

Hermione shrugged and grinned, "You certainly scared me at first, but you're such a sweetheart it's hard not to like you. Besides, you're not just Harry's girlfriend or someone's daughter, you're my friend too."
