I woke up to the sound of Olaf singing In Summer. I couldn't stop the urge not to sing along. I don't care if it is a kids movie, I like it.

After it went off I went to go get some lunch.

"Hey Cass what're you doing?" my dad asked

"Getting lunch"

"It isn't lunch anymore, it isn't even dinner. Sweetie it is 8:oo. I still have leftover meatloaf from my supper. You want some?" he offered

He didn't even wait for a reply. he went to the fridge and pulled it out and put it in the microwave.

"Thanks dad, leftover meatloaf. That's the best." I said in a sarcastic tone

I ate it anyway, I was really hungry. Out of no where, I hear a boom boom boom continuously.

"What is that?"

I looked out the window and saw a boy close to my age dribbling a basketball around the circle.

I went outside to investigate.

"Hey kid, SHUT UP. Thanks!" I said with a smile and walked back inside. I sat down with my cold, mushy meatloaf .

That is when I hear a ding dong. I got up and went to the door to see who it was, of course the annoying little boy.

"Yes?" I tried to sound polite

"Hi I'm James, I don't think we have met yet. You know except YOU YELLING AT ME." he complained

" Yeah, hi, I'm Cassidy. Now we have met can I yell at you now?!?"

"No, no you can not. First of all I am not a 'kid' I am fourteen. Second I can do whatever I want, like dribble my basketball."

I can tell he has anger issues.

" Well, James, listen now ,okay? I am sixteen so to me your a kid. Got it good" I told him

I slammed the door after that. It felt good. But when I turned around there was a surprise for me, my dad.

"Well your good at making friends" he said sarcastically

"Hehe yo- you saw that" I stammered

He nodded and said I need to apologize tomorrow at the cookout. He just walked away.

"What this is NOT fair, he was annoying, you would do the same." I started to whine "Daddy please don't make me" I got my puppy dog face out

" It is not going to work"

"Ugh, fine, I'll apologize" I gave up
