There are 2 properties of protons, neutrons and electrons that are especially important. They are mass and electrical charge.
Protons and Electrons weigh the amount of the Atomic number.
Neutrons weigh the Atomic number deducted from the Mass number. (Mass N.o. - Atomic N.o.= Neutrons)
The mass of an element is shown on the periodic table. It is called the atomic mass.
