Sebastian
It has been a year since the Templar Knights had been defeated. Fortunately, the Court normalized the day after the battle. Francis and Mary held a celebration party and the whole populace of the castle was proud for tasting victory. Francis declared that the castle has officially been liberated by the Templar's hands and shall never be invaded again for the improvements of military training has increased due to Evie's help.
As for Evangeline herself, she never came back, and so did Julius and Cesar Borgia himself. He retreated and escaped from the battle alive, forcing Francis to stand guard at all costs.
I was worried and was deeply searching for Evie, travelling to town to town in France, but I found no sign where she fled off to.
Everyday I wake up, I seem to feel like a part of my heart is missing. I've lied to Kenna that my feelings for Evie has gone, in which I thought it did, in hopes of moving on. Still it brings no rejoice.
Until an hooded Assassin came upon the castle doors once again.
When I first heard the news, I was at the stables, bathing my horse out of boredom. I was so full of happiness that I throw the scrub to the bucket and sprinted to see the Assassin.
Yet, when the Assassin revealed herself, she has the same red hair Evie had. She introduced herself to us as Odette, from the Italian Assassin Brotherhood. Odette travelled a long way just to deliver something, or someone. In her arms was a basket of... a babe.
"A child?" Mary's eyes enlighten over the sight. I recognized the grief she still has for their first child, which she had lost when it was only a inborn.
The baby weeps, and blinks adorably its forest green orbs at us in confusion. "I think I recognized those eyes before." I say.
"I can not give you an explanation as to why this baby will stay with you for a while, Your Majesties," Odette says, frowning, and I already know why. She reaches to us Francis letter from underneath the basket, sealed with her Order's insignia. "But this letter can."
Francis lets me read the letter instead of himself.
I read it aloud as the baby gently weeps, Mary cooing it in her arms.
"To my dearest Royals, I've never befriended anyone who carries Royal Blood before, well except for Mary, but I didn't knew she was by then, as I've remembered. I may not return for the second time to your castle, nor proceed on serving as second-in-command in your military, Francis. But I will send my brothers and sisters from the new Assassin Brotherhood of France, founded by yours truly and will be now led by Odette François.
Deeply, forgive me for I have left so quickly in a midst of a battle where I was needed. I left because of maternity problems, and I couldn't risk losing the child, despite that I had no choice of aborting it. I was ready to settle down and make an offspring for the continuance of my legacy.
I hope you will accept my dear daughter Amora, a full-blooded Kenway, as you had accepted my allegiance to your kingdom.
My most regards and advance thank you's,
Evangeline Kenway."
Mary displays a sad smile, as Francis does the same. "Let us welcome Baby Amora to the French Court then." Francis beamed.
Mary and Francis walk back inside the castle as Odette and I remained in the castle gates. "Aren't you coming?" I ask her.
She grins flatly at me. "I'm needed elsewhere for the whole day, Your Majesty. But much thanks to the offer."
"Thank you for delivering us the baby and the news but... How did Evie died, if you don't mind me asking?"
