CHAPTER 2

I realised I forgot to introduce Shubam and Champ. I'll clear the confusions if any

Gaurav Wadwa as Shubam Goenka
Karthik's cousin, his chachu's son. He is Naira's best friend. She is closest with him and considers him to be a brother. They fight a lot but always have each others back.

Mohena Singh as Keerti Goenka
Karthik's sister. She is a chef, mother of Ansh. Is the mother hen of the brother duo and Naira.

Kabir Shaik as Champ or Ansh 
Keerti's son. He is 4 years old.

Everyone except dadi loves Ansh in the Goenka house. Dadi never approved of Keerti's marriage so she doesn't like Ansh.
Naira and Karthik are married for a year now, she doesn't want any of the Singhania to know of it yet. The five lived in Rishikesh and will be moving back to their hometown Udaipur.

Karthik enters Naira's room to see her sitting on the bed and fuming. "For one week I have sent soo many msgs, calls and mails. Kyun hi reply nahi kia? You promised to stay by me the whole time Karthik. I just hate you. Ughh." She shouts and throws pillows at him. "I'm sorry. I was busy with work here and also shifting. You know dadi doesn't want Ansh at home so we need to stay outside. Shubam is busy with academy work and di is trying to get a job. Also I wanted you to spend sometime with them." Karthik explains. "But I don't like her. She was going to send me away." Naira protests. "I know, give her a chance to explain. You still have others who love you here. Talk to Naksh, Gayu and others. You know Naksh's face changed when Shubam called him your only brother. Sort the problem. Please." Karthik reasons. "I'll try but won't promise anything. They must deal with it though, Shubam was there when no one was there. He believed in me when no one did. Now, you guys are my family, they are related to me by blood that's all." She answers. The last part was heard by Naitik and Akshara and feel very bad. "Take your time. Now forgive your Mendak na. Come here." Karthik changes the topic and hugs her. "I missed you." He whispers. "Take me home I don't want to be here. Please." Naira sniffs and Karthik just hugs her close and kisses her hair. All this is seen by Naitik and Akshara, they just leave from there.

       "Hum ne aisa kya kardhiya ki woh nafart karthi hai hum sab se? Related only by blood,  that's all we are for her?" Akshara cries. "Aap chitha math kijiye hum sab teek kar denge. I'll find out about Karthik and try to figure out what happened these years." Naitik consoles her. The image of what he saw and heard kept flashing in his mind and all he could understand was Naira's trust in her family is gone.

   In Naira's room Kaira were sitting cuddled to each other. Naira had her head on Karthik's shoulder and he on her head. "Naira, you know everyone will want to know how we know each other. They were already asking." Karthik says. "Ik. I don't want them to know. They don't deserve to know anything. Every time I try talking normally the image of her telling the police she will take me to jail pops up. I have been proved innocent later but how does that matter. My mother did not believe in me, why will I believe her now? I just hate it here." Naira tells him. "Hmm I understand. Bohut late hogaya hai main nikal tha hoon. Bye. I love you." He kisses her and goes downstairs to leave. Naira looks around her room and spots his phone ringing. "Yeh Mendak bhi na." She looks at the phone and sees the call is from Suvarna. She runs to the door to give him the phone and shouts and picks the call "Mendak, maa ka phone aya hai. Hello mm aunty, kaise ho? Haan hum teek hai. Main mendak ko deti hoon." She gives him the phone, ruffles his hair and waves a bye. He smiles at her antics, waves back and leaves the house talking to Suvarna. All this was seen by everyone at home and left them wondering more about Karthik's relation with Naira.
