TWO WOMEN EXITED A BLUE, ROCKY BOAT carrying their luggage. Both women are Donna's old friends, also invited to the wedding.
The first woman, Tanya, is dressed to look very nice, while the small woman, Rosie, looks a little more casual.
"Oh! One more step in these sodding heels!" Exclaimed Tanya,
"What did you expect? A chauffeured limousine at the water's edge?" Rosie huffed.
"Yes! Donna knows I don't do walking!"
Donna walked towards her two best friends, smiling. "Well look what the tide's washed in!"
"Hey, for one night! And one night only. It's Donna and the Dynamos!" All three women chorused then went on to have a group hug.
"So. How's the mother of the bride?" The short woman asked Donna,
"Oh, all the better for seeing your pair. God Tanya! Eight bloody years!" Burst out Donna, "I know, darling. Blame it on a penchant for jet-setting millionaires." Replied Tanya,
"Well, I've been chained to this place and have constant battles with the bank manager."
"I pity the poor bank manager," Rosie joked.
Just then, both Sophie and Ari entered both shocked by seeing the two woman they knew as aunts.
"Aunty Rosie!" Both girls shouted with excitement while embracing her.
"Sophie & Ariana Sheridan, you each get more gorgeous every time I see you both. Well, don't I get a big fat kiss for coming all this way for you both."
"Ha, more like for Sophie's wedding!" Ari said sarcastically, while Donna flicked her on the head. "What? I was just joking!" Ari laughed.
"Now now, just because it's Sophies' wedding, doesn't mean you're any less important to us." Rosie winked at the girl,
"Well...," Sophie gave a questioning look, while Ari gasped and nudged her in the ribs.
"You cow!" Ari laughed and started running after her sister.
Both girls ran laughing until Donna grabbed ahold of Ari, "calm down you rascals, there's still someone you both need to say hello to!"
"I bet you both don't remember me," Tanya smiled at the girls.
"Hah! All that plastic surgery." Rosie rolled her eyes at the other woman,
"Of course I do, Aunty Tanya!" Ari laughed while both girls once again embraced their aunt.
"Aw! Look at my babies, their whole life ahead of them." Donna said pulling both girls into a hug, holding them both as hard as she could.
"Mum, I'm getting married, not joining the foreign legion!" Sophie exclaimed struggling to get out of her mother's grip, Donna soon lets them out of her embrace.
"Hey! I'm not the one getting married, I have nobody, keep hugging me!" Ari laughed at her mum, all the woman laughed along.
"Mummys girl," Sophie muttered while Ari stuck her tongue out at her.
"Well, in my day, they didn't get married at 20," Donna told her daughters,
"No. In our day, they didn't get married, full stop," Rosie corrected her."A white wedding! I don't know where she gets it from!" Donna joked.
-- A\N This is one of my favourite chapter in this book, plus in the film, I feel as though it really brings out the characters personalities!)
