NOT BEING ABLE TO CATCH UP WITH HER SISTER, Ariana decided to clear her stressed mind by walking by the beach, hoping to release all emotions that closed around her. Look out towards the sea, Ari could see a well cleaned boat, confused as to whom it may belong to.

As she looked out she saw a figure ahead, who she then recognised as her aunt Rosie, making Ari utterly bewildered and even more when Bill, her supposed father walked out.

"What the fu-" Ari was cut off with a loud cry of her name behind her, making her turn around rapidly.

Donna reached her daughter with a smile fixed across her face, "there's someone here you might want to come and see." Pulling her daughter along with her, Ari rushed to ask who.

"Mum, seriously, I know it's Shawn here, Soph already told me." Ari told her mother, to which Donna turned to give Ari a questioning look.

"Then why don't you want to go see him? Honey, you have been best friends with that boy ever since you were children and in love with him for probably even longer. What's the problem?"

"The problem is that he got up and left without even saying goodbye, I was heartbroken, but what was I to do run after him and say 'hey, guess what I love you and I want you to love me back!' I couldn't do that. And now I thought I was just getting over it when he comes back."

Donna sighed at her daughters heartache, "sweetie, he did love you, he really did, everyone could see it and he probably still does. Just give him a chance to explain, if he wants to, I'm sure there's an explanation."

Ari bit her lip in defeat, "fine, but only if he wants to, if he doesn't I'll just avoid him. Can't be that hard, right?" Donna rolled her eyes at the girls reluctance to talk to the young man she wished her daughter would end up with. "Another thing, why was Rosie on that boat a moment ago?" The girl asked her mother,

"Um, God knows, you know what Rosie's like, an adventurer." She replied hesitantly, as Ariana didn't look convinced.

"Anyhow, there's another thing I want to talk to you about," Donna told her daughter while pulling her down to sit on a nearby rock. Looking her daughter in the face she smiled, " after the wedding, I want you to take over the hotel."

Ariana's eyes widened in shock, "me? Are you sure? Not Sophie and Sky?" She questioned swiftly.

"Sophie and Sky's honeymoon travelling will take more than enough time, and I know that ever since you were a little girl your love for this hotel has overshadowed everything else and I think there wouldn't be any other person I would trust with this place for than you." Tears welled in her daughters eyes,

"You mean it?"

"More than anything honey, it's yours. I think there's more than enough memories here with me, I think it's time you started making some." Donna looked lovingly at her daughter, as if looking in a mirror of her younger self.

Ari grabbed her mother into a giant hug, whispering "I love you, thank you for everything you've ever done for me."

Pulling back, Donna wiped her eyes while smiling at Ari, "well, I think it's time for you to start getting ready, still got lots to do before the white wedding!" Ariana stood up with her mother, turning back to go up to the hotel.

"Go on, I'll catch up with you," Ari smiled and starting walking to finish the preparations, "and don't forget to talk to Shawn!" Donna called out to her daughter.

She looked warmly at her daughter leaving.

'Slipping through my fingers all the time, I try to capture every minute
The feeling in it. Slipping through my fingers all the time, do I really see what's in her mind. Each time I think I'm close to knowing, she keeps on growing. Slipping through my fingers all the time.'
