Inside the chapel - the wedding
The Father stood up, whilst Sophie and Donna walked down the aisle, with Ari and the rest of the bridesmaid behind them. Whilst walking down the aisle, Ari spotted Shawn and smiled warmly at him, to which he returned.
The father started the ceremony. "Please be seated." Ari sat down next to Shawn on the front bench, "welcome. Welcome to Sophie and Sky and to all your friends who are gathered here on this day. And welcome especially to Donna, who represents your family. Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today, in the sight of God-"
Donna interrupted the father, "and welcome to Sophie and Ariana's dad. I have to tell you both. It isn’t fair to keep it from you any longer. He’s here."
Sam, Harry and Bill stand all at once, looking at each other confused.
Ari look at her mum, mentally rolling her eyes. "We know mum,"
"What?" Donna said, not believing what she heard.
"I invited him," Sophie told her. While Ari coughed, "them." Trying for her mum not to hear,
"But you can’t have! I don’t know which one of ‘em it is." Donna stood gobsmacked, whilst Ari snorted in amusement.
Once again, Sam, Harry and Bill looked confused, sitting back down once again.
"Oh my God," Shawn muttered turning towards Ari who seemed to be enjoying the scene way too much.
"Mum, I’m really, really sorry. Will you ever forgive me?" Sophie asked Donna,
"Oh I don't know. Soph, Ari will you ever forgive me?" Donna looked at both of her daughters,
"I don’t care if you’ve slept with hundreds of men!" Sophie blurted, to which Ari added on loudly. "Or even thousands!" Rosie held back a laugh as Ari exaggerated 'thousands'.
Donna turned to Ari, "watch it." She raised her eyebrow at her daughter who held hands with Shawn, both chuckling under their breaths.
"You're our mum, and we love you no matter what!" Sophie finished, whilst Donna sat back down, but quickly stood back up again.
"And I have NOT slept with hundreds OR thousands of men!" Laughter filled the room, as the Father began again.
