-RECAP-
Do any of you know where the exit is?"
"Yeah it's right past the face painting booth and beside the home made crafts." the girl said. For some reason, her voice literally made me feel like strangling her. Gosh is all business people like this? At least she told me where it was. I would have been walking for hours.
"Thank you." I said as I looked at her and gave her a huge smile. She may be a little bit irritating but i'm grateful. I looked at the man beside her and my heart sunk. Beside her was no other than Dominic.
"I thought you said that you weren't coming to the fair. Are you two boyfriend and girlfriend or something?" I said trying to fight the jealousy that i had.
He opened his mouth to tell me but the girl cut him off. "Of course were together. But he's not my boyfriend." she wrapped her arms around him and kissed his cheek.
"He's my fiance."

To say that I was a little shocked was an understatement. A whole load of emotions came crashing down at me as I heard her utter those words. Shock, heartbreak, sadness, but most of all shock. He was only 22 years old. How could he possibly have a fiance? He promised me. He promised me that we would be together and that if he met me in the future, that he would marry me. I know he was only eight at the time but it meant a lot to me. I couldn't let my emotions get the best of me.
"I'm really happy for the two of you. I guess I will be on my way. Enjoy the night." With that said I turned on my heel and sprinted to where she told me was the exit. Once I got out of their sight I slowed down.
I found a small rock by my feet and started to kick it, hoping that it will make me forget. I didn't even notice that I was crying until I felt water sliding down on my face. I was in complete and utter shock.
I didn't realize how long I was walking until my rock that I was kicking hit a wall. I slowly looked up and noticed that I have reached a dead end.
Didn't Dominic's fiancé say that it was past the face painting booth and next beside the home made crafts?
I took a step back and noticed that I was beside the home made crafts section. I looked behind me and sure enough, there was a face painting booth. I did a 360 turn and there was no exit.
Realization then dawned on me. The girl lied straight to my face. Why would she do that? Did I do something to her? Then again, I was never really good at making friends.
I only ever had one friend growing up and that was Dominic. I had more bullies than friends growing up. Luckily I grew a back bone in high school otherwise I don't think I would have survived.
Great. Not only did Dominic's fiancé lie to me, but it's also getting really dark. What time is it 11:00? 12:00?
Do I really have no friends? I started to think of everyone that I met when I came to London. There is Hank but he is an adult and close to my grandparents age. There was Dominic but he doesn't remember a single thing about me. A picture came in my mind of a petite girl with red hair and green eyes. Oh yeah I remember that girl. It was a long time ago that I met her but I easily remember her by the way that she acted towards me. She wasn't what I thought she would be at all. She was actually nice and sweet. I can be friends with her. Jessica. A smile came to my face as I remembered her. My smile slowly vanished as I remembered where I was.
