RECAP:

Once we got the chance to move, we got up and ran inside the building.

"You look better than me at the moment Dominic." I teased as I pushed his shoulder.

"Please. I always look this good but what I have never been able to master is to look as good as you. Clara, you will always look like an angel to me." He gave me a side hug.

Together we walked off into the building and lived happily ever after. Then I realized that this was the real world and in the real world, it is never that easy.

The next morning I went through my usual routine. Got up, brushed my hair, went to the bathroom, did all that boring have to stuff and got ready to go to work. As I exited through the front door, I prepared myself for another day of long hard work in the office. If only I knew how wrong I was.

Usually I would walk straight to work and not be interrupted however today was a very different day. While I was making my way to work, my phone started to buzz. Being my stupid self, I clicked the talk button without even glancing at the phone. If I took three seconds to look down at my phone I would of realized that nobody was calling me, although somebody did text me.

Dominic:Clara, I forgot to tell you! My team is going to help build and paint shelters for the homeless. Later on today we are also going to start a bonfire for all the hard work that we are going to do. Just like to give you a heads up because I know how much you girls care about with your clothes getting dirty and all. Your welcome for the heads up. ;)

He could not pick another perfect moment for me to go back up and get changed as I noticed that I have not walked that far from my house.

I ran inside with my awesome fast reflexes dodging anything and everything in my path. I threw on a old white t-shirt that was hiding at the back of my closet along with jean overalls and gladiator sandals that I wanted to get rid of for a while now. I roughly put my hair in a messy deformed bun and ran down the hallway.

You remember when I said that I have and I quote 'awesome fast reflexes.' Well apparently I thought wrong because one second I was running perfectly smoothly like James Bond in attack mode and the next second I bang my elbow into the wall. Talk about a perfect get away. The walk to my work was totally unexpected because I never knew that I would be holding my elbow out in pain and constantly muttering curse words under my breath.

This day just keeps on getting better and better.

When I reached my destination which was my work, I was dreading going up that elevator yet again. Thankfully one good thing happened today because as I came in sight with the building, I noticed that Dominic and a whole bunch of my coworkers were standing outside holding buckets of paint.

"Clara, you finally came. My other team has worked all day building shelters and your job along with everyone behind me is to paint." he gave me a bucket along with a paint brush.

This is not what i signed up for.

Dominic turned around and the group followed behind him. The shelters that they built were pretty close to the Wilmur Industries Building so I was glad that it would be a short walk. The walk was about ten minutes away from where I worked so it was not that bad of a walk.

I stopped when I came in sight with other workers in front of me that were finishing off the shelter so that we could paint it and let me tell you, it was big. Out of the corner of my eye I couldn't help but notice the wide grin that spread upon Dominic's face as he saw the shelter. I smiled when I saw how happy he was but I did not only smile because he felt happy. I smiled because I was glad that I was going to take the time out of my day to help out other people.
