How does my heart survive the distance, love?
How can I go without you by my side?
My heart sure aches just like a lonely dove
Without your warmth to light me up insideThe awful pain of sorrow comes at night
And swaddles me in lonely suffering
While you’re away, I try with all my might
To keep my small fragile heart from breakingBut you, my love, make all the wait worthwhile
My quiet heart explodes when you are near
I feel that I can run more than a mile
And that I will have nothing left to fearJust like the Moon always falls for the Sun
You’re the love of my life, the only one
