Something in your eyes when you look at me.
I hate you, and who you are. I need you, too.
But how can we be? It remains unlikely.

As pleasure and pain tangle, helix together.
A moth to your flame, me, and as was Icarus
To the Sun, I love you. Too much, too close.
It's reeling, riveting. Yet I burn for you, My love.
For it is you who are branded against the
Porcelain of my core, bleeding scarlet,
When at last, your trembling lips do seal mine.
