(S.o.c sigh of the times /next door audio with rain and thunder/)
My car broke down on the side of the road in the middle of a rain storm. Just my luck. I get my phone and call a tow truck but the call won't go threw. So I decide to get out my car and walk to this diner that a couple blocks down.
I get to the diner and shake off the exes water I'm still wet tho.
"Excuse me" I ask the lady at the counter
"hell- oh my god sweetie your all wet here I think I have a towel in the back "
"thank you so much. Can I use your phone?"
"I'm sorry honey powers out. But you can stay here until it comes back on"
"Okay" I smile and take a seat.
I order a hot chocolate.
Ugh what am I going to do.
I get the towel and hot chocolate
I turn on my phone to see if I can call. As soon as I push call...my phone dies. GREAT. (Sarcasm)
I look around and the place is empty. I spot a jukebox. I get up and play (song above).
"Hey honey it's just me here. But I'll be in the back if you need anything"
"Okay" smile
"Wow this lady must really trust me"
I start to dance around since it was just me. I get into the song when I hear the door bell thing go off I gasp. I turn around and I face this guys with a beautiful face.
"Ahah nice dance moves"
"Oh god you saw that " I blush
"Yes" He chuckles
"Well do you work here?"
"Huh um n-no I don't.shes in the back"
" is there a phone I can barrow?"
"Actually the powers out. That actually why I'm here to use the phone....but the powers out" I say awkwardly
He just smiles at me
We stand there awkwardly
"Ha well I'm going to go back to me seat now" I smile and turn around.
"May I join?"
Say yes y/n say yes.
"Of course" I smile
He follows me to my seat and sits with me.
"So why are you here?" He asks
"Well my car broke down and my phone died"
"Sounds like you had a rough night" he says. I giggle
"Yup. And you?"
"Well they blocked off the road Bc of flooding. And I didn't get any service. So I came here" he smiles
"I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself I'm Grayson" he shakes my hand
"I'm y/n" I say shyly
"That's a nice name"
We talk for hours
He gives you a ride home
Rest is history.
