Today you were feeding some cows when you heard a horse trotting. You smiled when you saw the sheriff of the nearby town. Emily seemed to have smiled back as she dismounted her skeleton-horse, Whirlwind. "Howdy." Emily greeted as Whirlwind went over to your horses. "H-Hi." You greeted.
You met Emily when her outlaw brother tried to steal some of your prized animals, mainly sheep for some reason. "How are you, dear?" Emily asked, leaning against the fence. "I-I'm fine! Are you here for the chicken eggs?" You replied before Emily shook her head. "Nah. Not today."
You tilted your head as Emily took in a breath. "Have you... ever had a loved one?" Emily asked while she turned her head towards you. You shook your head as the sheriff loosened her bandanna. "Well... I know it's past Valentine's Day... but..." You blushed when the hybrid pulled out a (f/c) rose.
"Want... to be my Valentine?" Emily asked as her face slowly turned red, which was clearly not sunburn since she was mostly skeleton. You took the rose and nodded before Emily smiled. Whirlwind trotted over and nudged the sheriff towards you. Your cow did the same.
You both were deeply blushing simce you both were almost chest-to-chest. "That's it. No apples for a we-!!!" You silenced the law enforcement by kissing her. Whirlwind stomped his front hooves against the ground as your ranch animals went crazy. Emily kissed back before you pulled away.
"L-love y-y-you..." You stummered before kissing Emily's cracked socket. "I love you too." The Mexican wolf skeleton hybrid purred before nuzzling the side of your face. Zoey snapped a picture before she bolted to her news station. "Tomorrow's headline! 'Sheriff finds her mate! (Y/N)!'" Zoey exclaimed.
