You were reading Sapphire a bed time story when you saw J walk past the room. Zal smiled a little as you continued to read the story. As soon as you were done, Zal walked over and placed her hand on your shoulder. "Check on J, I'll do the rest."
You nodded as you stood up and walked out of the room. J's ears perked as you quickly trotted up to him. "(Y/N), is everything ok?" J asked as he stopped walking and turned towards you. "U-Um... I was g-gonna ask you that." You said shyly.
"Well... I'm doing ok. Patrols are getting tighter now." J said as his ears perked down. "You... don't want to lose Hūa, huh?" You asked. J leaned his back against the wall and sighed. "I'm going too. I hate to say it, but I'm going to lose her one way or another."
You walked in front of him and placed your hand on his cut cheek. J perked and blushed lightly before smiling and nuzzling your hand. Your blush rose when his paw laid over your hand. "You're hand's really warm." J's free paw pulled you gently closer, making you blush more.
J moved both his arms around your waist as you laid your hands on his chest. "Thank you so much for caring. I need all the help I can get." J said as he slowly kissed your jawline and neck. You purred as J leaned back.
He lifted your chin a little as your blush covered both your cheeks entirely. "I love you." J whispered as he leaned in and kissed you. You jolted before kissing back. J gently rubbed your sides as you played with his scarf. You both leaned back and smiled at eachother.
"So I'm going to be an aunt before I die?"
"HOW DID YOU EVEN SEE US HŪA!?"
