Scarlet was just done her training when she heard some troopers laughing. "Did you see 504 today? She's going to get KILLED on the battle field!" A trooper said as Scarlet hid to watch. "I'm surprised she's not dead YET!" Another trooper replied.
Scarlet waited until they passed before boltong towards the Trooper training center. Emily had her helmet off and was holding her head when Scarlet rushed in. Emily's hands had blood on them as Scarlet walked over slowly. "Emily?" Emily gasped before looking at her only friend and role model. "S-Scarlet... I-I..."
Scarlet made Emily stand up as she took the bloody hands in her paws. "What happened?" Scarlet asked with a serious look that matched her tone. "I...I got into a fight... I was winning when I felt a sharp pain and then... the tables t-turned mercilessly...." Emily whimpered.
Scarlet wanted to comfort her, she wanted to protect her, she wanted to be able to see Emily in a happy life, but most importantly... she wanted to... Emily blushed deeply as Scarlet had pulled her closer to press her lips against hers. Emily slowly and hesitantly wrapped her arms around Scarlet.
Scarlet soon then pressed Emily against the wall, using the force to shut down the cameras and lock the only entrance and exit. Emily was blushing deeply while her sockets started to water. Scarlet wipe those future tears away before finishing the make out with a small bite on Emily's neck.
Emily looked at Scarlet as Scarlet pressed her forehead against Emily's forehead. "I... wanted to tell you this for moons... but I love you so much." Scarlet said before Emily teared up and hid her face in Scarlet's shoulder. "M-Me too!" Emily cried before Scarlet hugged her.
Now Scarlet's true mission in her life has begun... to protect the one she loves the most.
