You sighed as you sat on a rooftop. Zoey leaped onto the roof, looking really happy. "Hey (Y/N)!" Zoey greeted, pulling her hood and mask down. "...hey..." You replied. Zoey perked before she sat next to you. "Hey, what's going on?" Zoey asked, nudging your shoulder gently.
"My parents are getting a divorce and are having a court case about who gets custody..." You answered, curling up into a ball. Zoey's eyes widened before she hesitantly wrapped her arms around you and gave you a comforting hug. You leaned into her fur and sighed. You didn't want to leave your childhood friend and home.
"I'm sorry... but I don't think I can do anything to help..." Zoey said as she nuzzled you. "I know you can't do anything Zoe. The amazing Spider-Fox can't do everything." Zoey chuckled as you snickered. "Well... who do you want to go with?" Zoey asked as she leaned back.
"I'd rather be on my own! 'Cause either way I'm leaving New York!" You growled, crossing your arms with a huff. Zoey nodded as she sighed. "Well... I'm going to miss you." Zoey said, feeling defeated. "I am too..." You replied, feeling just as defeated.
You both sat there for a good five minutes before Zoey got an idea. "Hey! I promised you I'd take you web swinging, right?" You nodded as Zoey got her mask and hood back on. "Come on!" You hesitantly wrapped your arms around Zoey's neck before the web swinging began.
You both had fun, it almost felt like a roller coaster! You both soon landed on top of your favorite restraint. You grabbed the two of you something to eat before eating while watching the sun set. "That was fun, surprised I'm still alive!" "Heeeeey..." You chuckled as Zoey nudged you.
"So long New York?"
"So long New York."
