Taehyung went out for a long day of shopping for one particular date, leaving Seokjin and Namjoon to run the shop by themselves. Since it was a thursday, it wasn't as busy as the weekends.
"Hey dad," Seokjin says, sitting on the tattoo chair as Namjoon set up the equipment, "How do you feel about Taehyung wanting a tattoo?"
Namjoon places the box of gloves underneath the counter. "I'm glad your little brother is growing up," he simply says, "I know you both are men now, but I still consider you my little boys you know.."
"You don't need to worry about us so much," Jin shakes his head, "... Dad, you should worry about your health more than tattooing and us.."
"My career and you boys are my world," Namjoon chuckles with a small smile, "You know I have to go away in the future, I can't stay healthy forever, so I'll have to live life happily as I can."
"The more you worry about death, the less time you'll have to spend living your life.." Namjoon sits down on the stool next to Seokjin, "Need a father talk?"
Seokjin nods. "I'm all ears," Namjoon leans on the tattoo chair, propping his elbows.
"... I'm worried for Taehyung," Seokjin says, "... He met someone, it's Jungkook. I'm worried about us, our family, what if he breaks again? He can't go through that again... I'm scared, he might say those words again..."
"He knows life is precious," Namjoon rests his chin on his palm, "Seokjin, not all men are like that. Jungkook, Jungkook is a nice man. Yes, there are bad people out there, but not everyone will hurt Taehyung.."
"I know, I'm sorry," Seokjin sighs, "... I just hate when Taehyung cries... He never cries! Thats why it hurts me so much when he tries to hide it.."
"Not all people want to show their vulnerable side," Namjoon says, "Give him time. You're his big brother, I'm sure he'll come to you when it's the good time."
"Are you really okay with Taehyung seeing Jungkook though?"
"Absolutely," Namjoon nods, "He's grown up, and you're grown up. As long as you both are open to telling me about them I'll support it. I hope i'm not embarrassing to show..."
"Dad!" Jin laughs, "You're not embarrassing! You know Taehyung and I are proud to have you as our dad..."
"I don't care if you bring home a girl or boy ," Namjoon says, "I will love both of you no matter what. If they ever hurt you in any way, physically or mentally, I'm always here for you both."
The door's bell rang, indicating there were customers. Their conversation was cut short, and Hoseok stepped inside the shop with a large heart shaped smile. A bag of takeout and cans of soda and beer in his hand.
"I hope you guys aren't busy today!" Hoseok says with an excited wave. "A friend of Yoongi's wanted to set up an appointment and maybe we could hang today.."
Seokjin gets off the chair quickly and Namjoon's eyes widen. Seokjin stands in front of Namjoon, his shoulders tensed quickly. Hoseok tilts his head.
"Hoseok, why did you bring him here?" Seokjin asks, raising his voice. "Hoseok you idiot, that's the guy-"
The man stands next to Hoseok, a small gentle like smile on his lips. He waves at Namjoon, who continues to stare in bewilderment.
"Nice to see you both again! It's been a long time hasn't it."
"... Hyungsik, I need you off my property immediately."
