2 weeks passed since that last phone call. I've been now getting warning every damn day. Like damn, y'all really some pussy ass niggas.

"Babe come on". Jania said. Stopping me out of my thoughts. She grabbed ma hand as we started walking down da red carpet. We were at da BET awards because I got nominated for best new artist. I wore a blue tux wit a black under shirt & all black Versace shoes.

We stopped walking & took pictures.

"Kentrell! Jania here". We heard da photographers say. Flashing lights were everywhere & was almost blinding. When we finished taking our pictures, we started walking towards da entrance doors. I spotted Aaliyah & ha guy friend Roy. She had dis black dress on wit a long slit in between ha boobs & a thigh slit. I could see ha pregnant belly pokin out & I smiled.

"What you smilin at". Jania said looking up at me.

"Just excited". I told ha, comin up with a quick lie.

When we was done, we walked inside of da forum to be seated. Aaliyah was seated like 5 seats down from me. We didn't speak, but we knew each otha was in da same room.

After what seemed like foreva, they finally got to da part to say who won da award.

"& the awards goes to. Roy woods". The 2 people said in unison.

I seen him get up & hug Aaliyah. She sat back down then he walked up to the stage.

"Hi, I would like to thank all those who voted for me. I would like to thank my supporters & my family. I would also like to thank my love for motivating me to be the best I can be". He spoke as he pointed at Aaliyah.

"I would like to thank god for this. I'm truly blessed". He said before he walked off.

Jania looked up at me & back down. "That's some bullshit". She mumbled.

"It's alright. He did his shit". I said whispering in ha ear.

After the awards

I just touched down in Baton Rouge. Tomorrow I have a show out hea' so I wanted to come early.

"Aye man. Yo girlfriend is sneaky you need to watch out fa ha". Ben said.

"Nah for real tho. I heard she was hangin with one of Marcus's old best friend gee-do". Kd added.

We eventually pulled up & I immediately seen Jania sitting on da porch. When I got out da car she damn near shitted ha pants.

"Jania get yo black ass in ya car & go home now". I yelled.

She ran to ha car & sped off.

"Aye I ain't wit da games main, why you got ma girl at yo crib?". By this time da whole gang got out da car.
