Every Time It Rains // L.H.

Part 4

It's been a week since we discussed vacation. I am in my room packing, or at least trying to pack. Its kid of hard to do with Luke pulling out each one of my bras trying to admire them.

"Luke! Stop give it to me!" I yell at him. Giggling.

"Lily! You know I think this one would look good on you!" He pulled out a black laced bra. I chased him around the room trying to get it back. But with him being almost a foot taller than me, he picked me up and threw me on the bed. He started to tickle me like crazy.

"Luke! Quit it!" I laughed He stopped and when I looked up at him he was just inches from my face. He leaned down and kissed me.

"Two weeks together... In Hawaii." He said seductively. "You know most people would thing that would be wrong."

"Well, we've spent the last week together at night so morally I don't think that it matters anymore for us." I laugh, "Help me take my bags to the car." He got up, helped me up, then we both took my two suitcases outside and put them into the trunk of my car, right next to Luke's and Steph's suitcases. 

"Ready guys? We're meeting Calum, Ashton, and Michael at the airport." Steph calls out. 

"Yea." i simply said. Staring into Luke's eyes. We were about to leave when I saw someone pull up behind us. To  my luck, it was the one person that I didn't want to see, "Luke, Steph, can you promise me to stay in the car no matter what?" 

"Not if your gonna get hurt. I'll stay in here as long as I can." Luke said. Steph nodded. I got out of the car and immediately yelled at her.

"Why the hell are you here mom!" 

"Sweetie,"

"Don't call me that."

"Lilian,"

"Don't call me that either!"

"Okay, listen I know you haven't forgiven me. But You need to come back. Please! I miss you!"

"You know what Mom? I don't care! I lived in your household getting slapped, raped, bullied, I was not believed, I was scared! You married that bastard after Dad and Harper died. You left me with a monster! And you never were there for me! I wish you were in jail too!" I let it all go on her.

"Look, What happened happened. I just also came to tell you that your step-father is out of jail. He wants to apologize." I heard the car doors open and slam shut. I couldn't respond. Luckily Steph and Luke both came up behind me.

"You tell that son of a bitch to stay away from Lily!" Luke yelled.

"He has no right to even be in the same country as her!" Steph yelled. Then the unbelievable happened. My abuser, stepped out of the car, and wrapped his arm around my mother.

"Lily, I have decided to forgive your step-father. I suggest you do the same." My mom said. I hated her guts right now. I walked up to the bastard and punched him in the face. I guess I got him pretty angry because he slapped me. I fell backwards landing in Steph's arms. I couldn't take it. All I did was cry. I heard a few punches and my mom yelling. I looked up and saw Luke. He had the bastard pinned to the floor.

"Luke It's not worth it! Let's just go!" I pleaded him. He got off the bastard and walked toward me. Enclosing me In a hug. We walked to the car and Luke and I got in the back seat. Steph went to the front and drove us to the airport. While i just sat there in Lukes arms. Shocked and freaking out. But I didn't want to ruin our trip. So I quickly got my act together. I looked up at Luke who had an apologetic face and I kissed him.

We arrived at the airport and almost immediately the boys ran up to me and we all group hugged. 

Attention! All passengers taking flight 4! We are now boarding.

"Looks like that's us." Luke says. We all got up with our carry ons and went to board. When we all got in the plane I sat down In the window seat next to Luke. I opened up my carry on bag, and pulled out a pillow, a blanket, a computer, and movies. Luke looked at me and said, "You are really prepared for a flight aren't you?" I nod my head. "What are we watching first?" 

I pulled out a movie and laughed. "Monsters Inc.!" He laughed too. "And then Lion King!" WE both laughed even more then the flight attendent came up to us and told us to keep it down.

After three movies and two bathroom breaks, I started to get really tired. But I couldn't sleep yet because we were switching planes In California. We were about to land to switch.

After we switched planes I nuzzled back up in the corner where I was sleeping and tried to fall asleep, "Hey Luke?"

"Yea babe?"

"Thanks."

"For what?"

"For helping me earlier."

"Like I said before, I will always protect you."

"Luke, I love you." I told him feeling like I wanted to cry happy tears.

"I love you too."

"So then what are we?" I ask.

"I like the sound of boyfriend and girlfried." He said. My heart melted.

"Me too." Then I kissed him. I wish I could stay there forever, but I had to sleep. I cuddled up next to Luke and he put his arm around me. I love you, goodnight."
