I wake up to sunlight hitting my eyes. I try to get up but Luke has his arms tightly around me. As if he was afraid if he let go I would be gone. I try to release his grip which leads to him gripping me tighter, pulling my body closer to his. I just stay, sleeping in won't hurt, I don't start work for another week. So I just turn around trying not to wake him and nuzzle my face into his chest. I missed this.
I wait for Luke to wake up and at around eleven he did. With my face still nuzzled in his face, I can feel his eyes on me. "Thank God it wasn't just a dream." He laughs. I pretend to just wake up and look up at him. He looks down at me with wide, playful eyes. "Good morning, Sleeping Beauty." He smiles.
"Hello Prince Charming." I grin. He kisses my nose.
"Get up." He says. and helps me up
"Why?" I ask surprised.
"Surprise."
