" i want to stay with you forever. "
( DELILAH'S POV )
-I woke up with Bryon's jacket thrown over me. I had no idea how long he had stayed after I passed out. I'm guessing he left right after. Like I said, it surprised me that he didn't want to stay. It surprised me more that he really was taking things slow. It just didn't seem like something he'd do.
I yawned and got out of my van, heading over to my house. I opened the door slowly, trying to be quiet again. I began my routine, showering, getting ready, and eating my breakfast. I wanted to find Jessie, and give Bryon his jacket back.
I stayed home for a little, as I promised my brother. As soon as my parents woke up, I found myself leaving once again.

"So how's it going with Pony? I didn't catch you yesterday." I asked Jessie as I plopped down on her bed.
"He kissed me! I guess I was wrong, because I definitely don't want to be friends anymore." She smiled happily. I laughed at how lovesick she was. Jessie was like that, she took things too quickly. She caught feelings so fast, and seemed to lose them just as fast too. She didn't like taking things slow, so she was always quick. She was a living example of "live fast, die young". I, on the other hand, never caught feelings, and if I did, it took me a while. But now, I seemed to be neck deep in feelings.
"So he asked me to go to the drive in tonight, and he said you and Bryon should come too!" Jessie went on as I zoned out.
"Yeah, we'll go for sure." I nodded.
"So you and Bryon." Jessie winked playfully. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"All we did was smoke again yesterday. M&M wanted to. You know I love that kid." I explained.
"Ok but you and Bryon have to get some alone time!" Jessie sighed. "Like a real date."
"We'll see. I mean, we're not even going steady yet."
She sighed, knowing what I meant.

"I thought I'd find you here." I said to Bryon as he turned around to face me. Jessie and I had walked to the Dingo, in search of Pony and Bryon. I needed to give his jacket back, and Jessie needed to see Pony, or so she says.
"I'm glad you did." Bryon smirked. He looked down at what I was holding and made a surprised face.
"God almighty, you got a real nerve, stealing my jacket like that." He joked teasingly.
"Can it Bryon." I rolled my eyes and shoved his jacket into his hand. He laughed happily.
"A wise person once said, 'make me' if I remember correctly." He said proudly.
"You do remember correctly." I replied as I stood on my tippy toes and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
"C'mon, that wasn't a real kiss." He laughed.
I raised my brows, pretending to be offended. He leaned into me and kissed me eagerly. He pulled me close and I placed my hands on the back of his neck. I felt my cheeks burning as we pulled away, and I swear they were red. He wasn't one to shy away from PDA. But I wasn't complaining. He always seemed to find a way to make me smile.
