Sebastian was Italian, god curls on his head and a jaw line that could cut some cake. Sadly his make up was better than mine.
"Well, I'm glad Miss June is hiring some bitches likes me!" He smirked sitting comfortably in the drivers seat of the golf cart.
"Excuse me?" I said walking towards him, getting in and looking to his highlight. Damn.
"Pretty bitches.. bitches like me." He said femininely.
I laughed at him and shook my head.
"I'm Dahlia. The fresh meat." I held my hand out across to him.
"Mm Pretty name, I'm Sebastian. The beat meat." He pointed to his face.
I laughed again and rolled my eyes.
"Well you can help me out.. with my make up and with work."
"I'll fill you in, I can tell from the lack of excitement on your face that you don't exactly know who we will be serving today and tonight. It's okay I have the gossip boo, just sit back and hold on for dear life while I drive this mother fucker like a mad bitch." He smirked, flashing his pearly whites at me.
At least there was someone here that wasn't old or boring. I liked Sebastian already.
~
I wasn't nervous before I started this shift.
But after Sebastian told me exactly who Jaseh Onfroy was, I wanted to run back and ask for a cleaning position. A rapper, a young rapper. And six of his closest friends. More rappers I'm guessing.
When we approached the Bay suite I was left speechless. It was like a water side mansion. Sitting in the perfect patch of grass only 10 metres from the sand on the beach, secluded and surrounded by palm trees and hedges to keep out watching eyes no doubt.
"This is amazing." I said once we'd stopped.
"I know, you should see inside. There's like nine bedrooms, six bathrooms, four spa baths, an indoor pool and two kitchens. We'll be serving from the main one down stairs." Sebastian said clapping his hands excitedly.
"X rents it every second summer just about for a range of time. He once rented it out for two days and once he left it took three days to clean.. Boy knows how to party."
I frowned at Sebastian softly, I'd never been to a party before but also the picture he painted of this guy made me nervous to serve tonight, was I going to be dealing with overly drunk young men and groupies everywhere?
I stepped over to take some bottles from Seb.
"Who's X?" I asked suddenly remembering his last statement.
"Oh my god, keep up 'babe in the woods! Jaseh is X, he prefers to be called X." Seb laughed at me.
"Oh right." I quickly smiled and proceeded to follow Seb inside.
~
Seb was right the house was amazing and very very big.
He opened the door, knocking on it quickly while poking his head through.
"Good afternoon! Room service and catering!" He yelled and walked in.
I was surprised at his confidence to just waltz in, it was quiet except for some laughs emerging from up stairs, male laughs.
We started setting the bottles down on the kitchen bench neatly. Seb would use the breakfast bar to serve drinks while I plated everything behind him on the island bench.
Foot steps, four pairs of them started down the stairs and I froze.
Seb pushed his hip into mine to correct me. I quickly stood next to him at the bench and copied his stance, hands in front of me.
I didn't know which one of the males in front of me was X. They all were covered in tattoos and wore branded clothes. I'd never owned clothes with a brand on them. I looked in amazement, they were all so attractive.
"Yo X!" One of them called, nodding to both Seb and I. All of them looking unsure about how Seb had a full face of make up on.
"What, N*gga?" I heard a smooth, deep and boyish voice yell from up the stairs.
"Room service is down stairs, vro." The male yelled back up to him.
I heard his feet hitting the stairs and instantly held my breath.
I had to let my breath go when he appeared slowly from down the stair case. holy fuck.
He was breath taking. No pun intended
His blonde and black dreads were hanging around his face and he stood in some basket ball shorts and singlet. A gold choker around his neck.
"Oh shit, just get started. My boys and I will be outside on the beach." X said, nodding towards the front door that literally was a few metres away from the sand.
I noticed the eyes on me and swallowed harshly, X's eyes looking me up and down.
Attention wasn't something I was comfortable with.
No one protested what he had said and so they all poured out the door first.
X stayed back as if he was just waiting for them all to be outside. He turned back and walked over to us quickly.
"I'm X, I was told you were starting today." He said to me, sliding his hand to his sides.
I'm sure Miss June was quick to warn him of me being on my first shift in case I fucked up or seemed out of place.
"I'm Dahlia. It is my first shift, yes. But I've served in restaurants before so hopeful my service isn't disappointing." I said smiling softly, trying to remain professional.
He simply nodded and smirked. Then walked out the door.
My heart was punching my chest and once I saw him close the door I relaxed, my shoulders dropping.
Seb looked at me shocked, "Oh I can feel the tension between you both already, he wants you, girl!" He grabbed my arm in excitement.
I shook my head, "I'm not so sure about that Seb. I'm not even rich enough to ask for a photograph with people like him."
Seb sucked his teeth, "You should loosen that Grandma styled French bun, it constricting your brain and making you say stupid shit." He joked.
I laughed, "shut up, if you think he's all that then you can try and build up some 'tension' with him. I came here for money; not a famous boyfriend."
"Oh my girls on her green like a tractor? I like you already. But also a famous boyfriend is gonna get you that cheese, Work smarter not harder." He laughed.
"Get off my dick, lets get this set up." I said pushing past him as he continued to grin.
