Emilie's P.O.V.
I sighed and made myself a cup of coffee.
"Are you okay? You look, and sound, exhausted. And you should stop with the coffee, that's your third cup in two hours."
I turned to face Shania and shrugged. "I got almost no sleep. I was so worried about Leonora, I was afraid that if I closed my eyes something would happen. Although now I almost regret that."
"Almost?" Shania raised an eyebrow at this.
"Yeah, almost. She had nightmares all night, so I'm glad I could reassure her each time," I teared up, remembering seeing her in pain even during her sleep.
Shania hugged me and, taking my cup of coffee with her, she pulled me into the living room. There, she sat me on the couch and she kept hugging me while I cried. I eventually calmed down and told her what had happened before she and Hiroki arrived. Taking gulps of coffee between every second sentence.
Shania and Hiroki had arrived this morning around 10 o'clock and, the moment they had arrived, Leonora had locked herself in her room, not before pushing Hiroki inside. I had no idea what they were doing in there, but, as I heard nothing, I supposed that nothing bad was going on. It was midday now though and I missed my baby. I also wanted to get her something to eat but I didn't know what, and I didn't know if I'd have the courage to force her to eat if she didn't want to. I sighed and leaned against Shania, seeking warmth and comfort after the long night I'd had. And she gave me it willingly.
After a while, I heard giggles coming from Leonora's room so I guessed that they were both feeling little and I finally smiled relieved. At least in littlespace she'd be happier.
However my smile soon turned to a groan, matched by Emilie's groan, when the two giggling littles appeared in the living room.
Since when was it a good idea to leave two littles alone in a room with no supervision during two hours?
