Chapter 2
Brea POV
First day of school again😒. Hopefully it will be fun. I missed some of my niggas though. Not my best friends because we hang out almost everyday, but my niggas. It is now 6:30am, so I guess it's time for me to get up and get ready for school. Handled my business in the morning. Took my 15 minute shower, brushed my teeth, and washed my face. Put on my undergarments and lotioned my body. Since today is the first day, I decide to dress simple but fresh. I put on my white Polo shirt with the black horse, black skinny legs, and my Jordan 11 low Concords. For my jewelry, I put on my black and white wrist bands, and a necklace that says "Boss" on it. I'm ready to see my niggas and have me a good day. Got my keys and went to school.
I left the house at 7:00am and made it to school at 7:20am. Would have made it there a little earlier but I decided to stop to get some snacks for the day. A nigga be hungry during them classes😂. Anyway, I saw most of my niggas. But I saw my cousin Trey but I call him my brother. He's 5'6, carmel skin, he plays football, has brown eyes and he has swagg. Trey was with his friend, Tae. We call him that because he don't want us to call him by his real name all the time. He is 5'5, brown skin, has brown eyes, and he also plays football.
"Hey fam!" I said giving Trey a hug.
"Hey Bree!" He said smiling.
"Hey Tae!" I gave him a hug also.
"Hey Bree Baby!" Tae said.
"I will talk to yall at lunch or after lunch." I told them.
"Okay." They said.
As I walked to class with Jazmine and Tyeacha, even though we had different schedules, Jazmine's brother Jaydan walks up to us to get something her. Jaydan is fine as hell. He's about 5'9, brownskin, has brown eyes, curly dark brown hair, and he is in the same grade as us.
"Jaz, give me my phone I left you hold for me." Jaydan said reaching for his phone.
"You shouldn't have gave it to me, hold your own stuff." Jazmine gave his phone to him.
"Hey bae." As Jaydan directed towards me.
"I'm not your bae but hey Jaydan." I said waving him off.
He laughs. "Well I will catch up with yall later. Bye bae, I mean Brea."
"Bye Jaydan." I laughed.
The Bell rings for Homeroom, and I'm just walking in, and a few other people. The teacher takes roll or whatever and the next 3 minutes the bell rung for 1st hour. As I walked in the class, I see a empty seat in the back so I sit there. Trey and Tae walked in so I'm in the class with them☺️. This should be fun! I see Jazmine come in and I was even happier. Last but not least, Jaydan walked in, oh my god. Why early in the morning, he have to be in my class? Trey sat in front of Jazmine in the back where I was sitting, and Tae sat in front of me. Somehow, it just so happen to have a seat right next to me in the back. So I'm hoping, Jaydan doesn't sit by me because all he will do ia flirt and mess with me the entire hour. But, he ends up siting by me anyway. Ughh!! I try not to pay him any mind because he play a lot, and you really can't take him serious.
"Class, settle down! My name is Mrs. Parker and I'm your English teacher for the year." Mrs. Parker announced.
One boys says sounding like Bernie Mac on Friday, "Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Parker, oohh Mrs. Parker." Everyone laughs, even she did.
"Alright class, take out a sheet of paper and write me paragraph about yourself." Mrs. Parker said.
I finished that small assignment quick. It was nothing to do actually. Jazmine and I were just waiting on everyone else. We are very quick to do our work. You might think we are nerds but it's not that. It's just beauty and brains😏. Since it's just the first day of school, we're not doing much work. After everyone turned their papers in, Mrs. Parker just let everyone talk. This teacher might be cool, but you never know how these teachers are til later on in the school year. I was talking and laughing with Tae, Trey, and Jaz. They know how to keep a girl entertained. Then, Jaydan had slapped my arm playfully.
"What the hell nigga?!" I said softly. I didn't need no teacher telling me to be quiet this morning.
He laughs. "What you doing?"
"I'm talking, what you think I'm doing." I said sarcastically.
"What's your number?" he asked.
"For what?" I asked.
"I want it what you think!" He said.
"You can't always get what you want." I said with a smirk on my face.
"Haha, whatever, so can I have it or nahh?" He said smiling.
"Nahh homie try again later." I laugh.
2nd and 3rd hour went by quick. Maybe because we didn't do anything. It's now lunch time and everybody talking and socializing. I sit with my niggas, Jaz, Trey, Tae, Tyeacha, Kennedi, Chris, Darell, and Jaydan. Carter, who is this tall darkskin boy who plays almost every sport came over where we was. He has a crush on Jazmine. I don't really like him, simply because he think he is a know it all. He think he is right all the time. I can't stand people like that. We always been in the same class ever since elementary school. I'm just glad we only have on class together and that's Algebra 2.
"Why you over here?" I told Carter as he sat down.
"Why you got to be so mean?" He asked me.
"Why you asked me the same question everytime I say something to you? I know why you over here anyway and don't ask me nothing else." I said waving him off.
"Whatever. But, Jaydan, Trey, Chris, and Tae, yall coming to football practice tommorow?" He asked them.
"Why you asked a stupid question like that? You know we have to come anyway damn!" Jaydan said annoyingly.
We all started laughing except Carter. He felt kinda played.
After lunch and our break, we all had to head back to class. For the rest of the day, we just chilled in class. Finally the last bell rung and the school day was over. I told Jazmine to text me later on tonight. Before I walked to my car, Jaydan came and stopped me for whatever reason.
"Ayee Brea!" Jaydan yelled to get my attention.
