Chapter 5
Brea POV
I wake up strolling to the bathroom to get ready to go to Hibbett Sports to pick up my Jordans. Right now its about 6:20am and they open at 7am. I take a 10 minute shower, took care the rest of my hygiene. Since its early, I just put on my black warm up capris that has 'Love' written on it, a light blue t-shirt, and my Jordan Gamma 12s. I told Jaz I'm headed to get my shoes and I will be back by 9 at least. I walked to Jaydan room and he is up already. Jaydan told his mom where we was going and we will be back. We got in the car and we headed to Hibbett Sports.
"You stay fresh even in the morning time." Jaydan says laughing.
I laughed. "And you stay flirting early in the morning."
"Well I can't help it." Jaydan smiled as he looked out the window.
I had my phone hooked up to my car, and played the music I had on my playlist. Then, Kevin Gates song, "Arms of a Stranger" comes on.
"Oohh this is my song!" Jay acts like a total girl and sings the song.
"My Heart, My Heart, calling out to you, in the arms of a stranger, calling out to you--" Jay sings looking at me.
"You cannot sing at all. I'm gonna change this." I said laughing.
"Don't hate cause I can sing." Jay snaps his fingers rolling his eyes.
"Who told you that lie, why you acting like a bitch." I said.
"Whatever." Jay laughed.
It's now 7am, and the line is moving up. I finally made it in. They had the shoes on the counter and they showed them to me.
"Hey Brea." The cashier said.
"Hey Jenn." I said. She always be in here when I come to pick up my Jordans.
"This your boyfriend huh?" Jenn asked.
"Nahh, this my best friend brother Jaydan." I said.
"That's cool. Yall should hook up, you too cute together. Anyway you have your MVP card?" She asked me.
"I don't have it on me so I will give you my number." I gave her my number and then I paid for my jays and left out.
We are on our way back to the house. Jay had a smirk on his face.
"See!"
"See what?" I said.
"We look cute together, and she said we need to hook up. I know I'm right."
"Whatever Jay. We will see." I said just to get him to calm down.
"So you going to give me a chance?" He said smiling.
"I will think about it." I said waving him off.
"iight. Take your time but not to long." Jay said.
I walked to Jaz room and put my keys on the dresser. She just waking up.
"You back already?" Jaz said rubbing her eyes.
"Yeah. It doesn't take that long to pick up some Jordans and come back." I said laying down.
"What time you goin home?"
"Bout 2pm. Wake me up at 11am if I don't wake up before then. A nigga tired."
"iight Brea." Jaz said walking out of the room.

I hear my name being yell loud as hell. "Whaaattttt!!!!"
"Come here!!!" Jaz yellin.
Its 10:55. She could have waited 5 more minutes. I put my Jordan slippers on and walked it the living room.
"What you yellin for?" I asked rubbing my face.
"Your mama on the phone?" She hands me the phone.
Me-Hello
Mama- heyy wyd
Me- just woke up
Mama- you got your shoes this mornin?
Me- yeaa
Mama- what time you coming home? I miss you at the house.
Me- 2 o'clock
Mama- ok I will see you then.
Me- iight
With that I hang up.
"What you want to do for the next 2 hours?" Jaz asks me.
"Let's play 1 game of basketball. We go to 10. I haven't played you in a minute." I said.
"iight cool. I'm going to get Jay ball and we can play." Jaz said.
"Ok."
Jaz walked into Jay room and got his basketball. Jay wanted to play too but it was going to be uneven. So Jay called his friend Steve to come play. Steve cool but I say he is not the best basketball player. This game was the boys against the girls. I bet yall didn't know I can hoop. Basketball is my favorite sport. As we were playing the game, the score was 7-6. We were winning as usual. Steve only made 2 points and Jay made the rest. I'm thinking he letting us win but I want a real game.........As I suspected, he let us win obviously.
"Why you let us win?" I asked Jay.
"I wanted yall to win." Jay said as sweat drip down his face.
"Next time its going to be one on one. Me and you and play like you always play."
"Your going to lose then." Jay says with a smirk on his face.
I laugh. "Nahh keep dreamin. I'm getting ready to go home. Hit me up later today iight."
He walks towards me and gives me a hug. "iight Brea."
I walk in the house got my things told everyone Goodbye and I will see them later. I enjoyed myself, and now I'm going home to go to sleep. But I'm going to take a bath first and get out of these sweaty clothes. 😂 I ain't gone lie, I had fun with Jaydan. I might give him a chance but he gone make the first move. We will see!

Just a small update. Jay and Brea really hitting it off.
