Chapter 4: Day Three : Scavenger Hunt

I walked out the door and then got tackled to the ground. And looked to see who tackled me and it was Maddie , Maddie said, " You knew it was there the whole time and didn't bother to tell us !"

I smiled and said, " Like it on top huh , Maddie ?"

Vanessa came out and got Maddie off of me and crossed her arms, " That was bogus that you didn't tell us ."

And then she looked at the paper and said, " This paper says that the next clue is surrounded by green and is hidden somewhere deep , there you will find rocks and the second clue you will find ."

Sophia said, " Easy , the woods ."

Alex said, " Yeah , green,  trees . Makes sense ."

They all walked towards the forest , Maddie was glaring at me the whole way. We entered the forest and walked the trials, it felt like we've been walking for 600 years . We came to a stop by some rocks , and Vanessa said, " It must mean over here ."

Maddie huffed and said, " There's barely anything here ."

Vanessa said, " Well, we still have to look ."

I sat down by a tree and watched as Paige , Sophia , and Alex looked in the same spot and Maddie and Vanessa looked around . Vanessa looked at me and said, " I swear to god if you don't get your lazy ass up and help up search I'll -,".

I interrupted and said, " Wow swearing to god what if I was religious , Vanessa ? And you guys look like you're close to finding it ."

Vanessa glared at me and continued to look. I sighed and looked at a rock that was next to me I picked it up and it had a piece of paper taped on it. Wow Lauren , how subtle could you be ? And then I turned the rock around and saw a huge spider run across my hand . I screamed and threw the rock down and jumped into someone's arms , Vanessa walked over there and smiled, " It was just a little spider , Bella ."

"Little ? That things huge!"

I looked to see whose arms I was in and it was Maddie's. I got off her and brushed myself off and said, " I wasn't even scared ."

Maddie laughed, " Yeah I'm sure you weren't . I think you might've peed yourself ."

      Vanessa laughed and said, " Well at least we found the clue . The next clue is where information is stored and where knowledge can be gained."

" We ? I'm pretty sure I'm the one who found them. Both of them actually."

Maddie smiled, " Yeah, at least you told us about this one. Oh wait, no you didn't, because you were too busy peeing your pants."

Alex said , " The next clue is in the library."

We started to walk to the library, again , it felt like it took 1000 years to even get there . We walked into the library and saw the computers , Vanessa said, "Maybe,  we need to go to the computers ?"

"Wow, so observant, Vanessa.", I said with a sarcastic tone.

Vanessa glared at me then all of us walked over to the computers and in front of the computer on the screen it said , " You have made it this far complete the questions on the computer and get your next clue ."

Vanessa sat down and moved the mouse the screen came on and it said questionnaire 10 questions click start. Vanessa clicked the start button and the first question said, "Who sleeps with a teddy bear ?"

Vanessa said, " Umm , which one of you sleeps with a teddy bear ?"

Alex said, " Uh , I do ."

" Nice, scared of the dark too ?", I said laughing.

Vanessa typed in Alex's name and there was a ding and it went to question two, " Who has never kissed someone ?"

Vanessa looked around and Sophia said, " How does the computer know that ?"

Vanessa said, " Because Lauren is the computer , I have no idea how she knows that though."

Vanessa typed in Sophia's name and it dinged then went to the next question, " Who has pornagraphic magazines with them ?"

Vanessa blushed and quickly put in her name and it dinged then went to the next question. I laughed and said, " Exsqueeze me ?"

Maddie started laughing too, " Well, now we know why you take so long in the bathroom."

Vanessa said, " Shut up." , the next question then said, " Who had comic books with them ?"

Vanessa typed in Sophia's name it made a noise and it said try again. Vanessa typed in Paige's name it dinged and went to the next question, " Who sucks their thumb in their sleep ?"

Man this one is about me , I suck my thumb when I sleep to calm me and so I won't have bad dreams even though I still have them , Vanessa shrugged and said, " Who didn't go yet ?"

Alex said, " Uh , Bella and Maddie ."

Maddie smiled, " I don't suck my thumb ."

Vanessa smirked then typed in my name and it dinged and Vanessa looked at me and smiled and mimicked me from early, " Exsqueeze me ?"

Then the other question popped up and it said ," Who is scared of the dark ?"

Vanessa smiled and automatically typed Maddie and the computer dinged and Vanessa turned around and said ," Aw , do you need a nightlight ?"

Maddie glared at her and said, " No."

Vanessa looked at the next question," Who is terrified of bugs ?"

Vanessa typed my name in and it did a noise and said try again , Vanessa made a weird face and said ," Who is this about ?"

Alex leaned over Vanessa and typed her name in and it dinged and went to the next question," Who sleeps a lot? "

Vanessa typed in Paige's name and it dinged and went to the next question," Who snores in their sleep ?"

Vanessa typed in her name and it dinged and went to the next question, Maddie started laughing and made snoring noises , the next question was ," Who talks in their sleep ?"

Vanessa typed in Maddie's name and the computer dinged and went to the final bonus question ," What did Isabella's older sister call her when she was little ?"

I walked over to the computer and typed in Bella and the computer made a noise and said try again. I made a confused face and then groaned , it must mean when I was real little. As quickly as I could I typed in Bella bear and the computer dinged and went to the finish screen . Vanessa grinned and said, " Bella bear , huh ?"

How could she see that I typed that faster than Usain Bolt, Maddie laughed, " I'm definitely going to start calling you that."

" Yeah no you're not."

The closing screen said, " Now that you have completed the questions you now must go to somewhere surrounded by water and that is wooden for your 4th clue."

Paige said, " That's by the dock ."

We went out to the dock and started looking for the next clue.
