Katie Lynn Somerhalder grew up with her dad and half brother. Her dad was a huge jerk to her, and one day he went to far. Ian moved out of the house as soon as he could. Katie is a writer, soccer player, straight A student, in all advanced classes, Beta, Gifted and Talented, 4-H, Speech, basically, you name it, she's in it. However, it's still never good enough for her dad.
Her mother died giving birth to her, so she grew up with her dad. He's always pushed her down, but her big brother was always there to pull her up.
