Arrive

I walk to the luggage parcel and grab my two bags, then follow Ian, Nina, and Paul to the doors. People surround us and start taking pictures, so I leave them and keep walking. I walk to Ian's car and lean against it then pull out my phone. I see I have a missed voicemail, so I listen to it.

Katie Lynn Somerhalder, why did you take off without telling me?! You are in so much trouble when you get home! Have fun with that idiot brother of yours! You stupid idiot! Now you've left me by myself! I already have to do all the work around the house! Now I'm by myself! You idiot!

I put the phone down and lay my head back trying to blink the tears away. "Katie?!" A familiar voice gasps from in front of me. "I-I'm Okay." I say and Paul shakes his head. "No your not! What's wrong?!" He asks cupping my head. "D-dad! H-he w-was.... h-he..." I say not being able to finish my sentence.

My head starts pounding, my heart is beating out of my chest, my breathing comes out in short gasps, I start shaking, and my vision gets black at the edges. I clutch my chest, and Ian pulls me into him. "She's having a panic attack!" He pulls me into his lap and we sit on the ground. He starts to rock us, moves the hair out of my face, and whispers comforting things in my ear. I feel my heartbeat start to settle, and the pounding in my head increases, so I know it's ending.

"Kate? Katie?" Ian asks me. "I-it's over." I say and he sighs a sigh of happiness. He kisses the top of my head and I hug his torso. "Don't ever do that again!" Nina states. "S-sorry I s-scared you." I say and she hugs me. Paul hugs me also, and we all get in the car. "Let's get this show on the road!" Ian states then starts the car and pulls out.

We pull up to Ian's house, and I grab my bags then walk up the stairs. "Okay, Nina and I have a key, so here is yours." He says then hands me a gold object. I pull out my keychain and add fix it up with its new friend.

We walk in, and Nina kisses Ian then hugs me bye. "Let's give you a tour." He says then leads me to each room. He shows me his then leads me to mine which has two closets, a bed, a dresser, a bed side table, a study table, a book shelf, and a bathroom. "I-it seems l-like this wa-was already m-m-my room." I say and he laughs. "No, it was like this when I moved in. The other one didn't have as much furniture." He says and I laugh. "I've missed your laugh, K." He says and I hug him. "I-I've missed you, E." I say and he wraps his arms around me then kisses my head.
