The Dance

Carly's POV
Right now it's Dance class and everyone is warming up. Sasha and I prepared a really good dance and I think that we're going to even be better than Beckett and Vanessa.

Ms. Helswheel: Okay dancers, it's time to show me what you have prepared. The best team will get to have a day off from dance practice.

Then I see that everyone starts to get excited. Having a day off from dance practice is great. It feels better than ditching too because you have earned the day off.

Ms. Helswheel: First group up is Grayson and Jenna.

Both of them do good. I don't mean to sound stuck up but Sasha and I will win this for sure.

Ms. Helswheel: Both of you should be putting in extra effort instead of getting the day off. I am scared by the memory of that dance. Next up is Sasha and Carly.

Now it's time for Sasha and I to go. We have been practicing hard for this and deserve that day off. Once we finish we high five each other confidently.

Ms. Helswheel: That wasn't terrible. Now it's Vanessa and Beckett.

Vanessa and Beckett do their dance. It's absolutely amazing. Their connection is great and so is their technique. Once they are done some people even start clapping for them.

Ms. Helswheel: That was exceptionally well.

I honestly can't believe that I thought I could be better than Vanessa. I know that she is my best friend but who wouldn't be jealous of her. She is pretty and a great dancer. I know that Sasha and I did great but Vanessa and Beckett did even better. I just hope that somehow Sasha and I will be tied with Beckett and Vanessa.
