Juliet's Understudy- Carly Catto
Romeo's Understudy- Grayson Bradley

I'm Juliet! I hug Sasha and Carly. I feel bad that Carly is the understudy, again. I would usually hug Beckett but I know that I shouldn't. It's awesome that I'm Juliet but why does Beckett have to be Romeo? I mean I have to practice with him like 3 times a day. It's hasn't even been a week since we broke up! I walk up to Beckett.

Vanessa: Congrats on getting Romeo.

Beckett: Thanks. Nice job on getting Juliet.

Vanessa: Thanks. So do you want to practice during lunch tomorrow?

Beckett: Sure.

Then Beckett walks away. Thank god, it was so awkward. I then go back to Carly and Sasha.

Vanessa: Carly I'm so sorry that you have to be the understudy.

Carly: It's fine, I talked to Ms. Helswheel and she said that I also get my own solo at the end.

Sasha: Awesome, so we all get to dance.

Carly: Oh yeah I forgot Mercutio also gets his own dance right?

Sasha: Yup.

Then we all go home getting ready for our first rehearsal tomorrow.

Mile's POV
After we all auditioned Mr. Park is about to announce the songs that we get to play.

Mr. Park: You all did great. So here are the songs that you will be singing. Miles you will be singing Mercutio's song but Jax will be helping you. Alya you will be singing the song where Romeo and Juliet dance about their love or something. Bianca you will be singing the ending song. Sorry if you guys didn't get a song or didn't get the song you wanted. There will always be next year.

Then the bell rings and everyone heads home. At least I get a song! I mean Mercutio's song is like more upbeat than I was hoping but Jax is going to help me since some of the stuff you need a dj.

The next day
Daniel's POV
I'm walking to school and I see Vanessa. I catch up to her and walk next to her.

Daniel: Hey.

Vanessa: Oh, hey.

Daniel: I'm sorry to hear about you and Beckett.

Vanessa: Thanks.

Daniel: I know things have been awkward since I said, you know.

Vanessa: Yeah. We have to talk about that.

Daniel: Of course.

Vanessa: Why did you lie to me when you said that your feelings for me were just a crush?

Daniel: Then I wasn't lying. Back then all my feelings for you were just a crush. But then it developed into something else. I don't know what my feelings for you are yet.

Vanessa: Daniel I don't want to lead you on. So to tell you the truth I just think that we should stay friends.

Ouch, the friend zone.

Daniel: I think that too. And I will get over these feelings. I don't expect anything to happen between us.

Vanessa: Good.

Then we arrive at Keaton. I hate that I'm a nurse in Romeo and Juliet. At least I could be Mercutio. Vanessa and I part ways and I go to the grass and I start to draw again. Then I get up and start to head to rehearsals.
