The Inside

Jax's POV
Jax: Kit.

She's here!? I mean what is she doing here? God I just kissed Bianca. I hear from behind me Bianca getting up from the couch. What is Kit doing here!? I know I should be happy and part of me is. While the other part wants to be with Bianca right now.

Kit: What not happy to see me?

Kit says that in a teasing tone and I just give her a fake smile. I walk up closer to her and I pull her into a hug.

Jax: What are you doing here?

Kit: After Scarlett's Christmas Album, my family decided that we could come back to Canada fro Christmas!

Jax: That's great!

Why do I feel like I'm lying to Kit and also myself? I'm happy right? I mean Kit's going to be back for a week or two. I could get Kit to believe I'm happy, so why can't I get myself to believe I'm happy? Then we both pull apart and I notice that Kit isn't wearing her toque. I furrow my eyebrows a bit and she notices.

Kit: In America it just gets too hot sometimes for a toque.

I just slightly nod. I still don't get why she would take that thing off. I mean she loved it, has she really changed that much without me knowing? Then Kit notices Bianca and I look back at Bianca too. Bianca rushes up to Kit and she hugs her.

Bianca: You're here!

For Bianca I can tell that she has a hint of hesitation when she says that. It's hard to notice if you think she's completely fine or that nothing happened.

Kit: What are you doing here?

Bianca: I just needed to pick up Mile's Christmas present from Jax because I didn't know what to get him. I should get going know.

Kit: Okay, we should all hang out again sometime.

Bianca: Well Jackson can fill you in on Vanessa Morita's New Years party then.

Then Bianca leaves and she catches my glance on her. She gives me a quick smile before going out of sight. Why does that smile make my heart melt every time? Why does she make me want to run after her and to not look back? Why does she make me want to never let her go? Or to never want to see her with someone else? Why? Then I remember that Kit is here, my girlfriend. Kit, not Bianca

Beckett's POV
When James and I arrive at the track we both get out of the car. I head to the shack to put my gear on. While I'm putting my gear on I see Kaleb walk in.

Kaleb: So you convinced James to finally let you ride a motorbike?

Beckett: Trust me it wasn't easy.

Then we both laugh.

Kaleb: Hey uh do you know Daniel Kolpan?

Beckett: I wouldn't say that but I've met the guy. Why do you ask?

Kaleb: Well he blocked my number, and Jame's number so I have no way to contact him.

Beckett: Why do you need to contact him.

Kaleb: Just some unfinished business between us.

Beckett: What business would you have with him? I mean he doesn't even do motorbiking and he's been in America for like a month.

Kaleb: He came to James and I when he needed help. We gave him something that helped but he refused to pay. We tried to play it nice but he got all angry and started lashing out at us.

Beckett: How? By driving your motorbike off a cliff?

Then we both laugh by Kaleb sort of gives a nervous laughter this time.
