Just A Hunch

Vanessa's POV
Beckett and I are sitting together for lunch and I'm talking to him about the Carly situation, again.

Beckett: Look, maybe you should just tell her you would never kick her out of the Primas. If she doesn't believe you then that's her fault.

Vanessa: I know but, I just want our friendship to be back to normal.

Beckett: Trust me, it will be. You just have to give it time.

Vanessa: You're right. I've been talking about this too much haven't I?

Beckett: Just a tad.

When Beckett says that I laugh. Then he kisses my cheek.

Beckett: Don't worry, I'm supposed to listen. It's my job as the boyfriend.

Then we both start laughing.

Jax's POV
At lunch Miles, Bianca, Alya, and I are sitting together. I honestly was surprised when Miles suggested that Alya sit with us. I mean I know 100% that he's not over Vanessa. Maybe he's trying to be her friend. Who knows honestly. Speaking of relationships, while Alya is talking all I can think about is Kit. She's been dodging my calls for days and when I try to FaceTime her on my laptop she just hangs up. I mean is something wrong or is she just avoiding me?

Miles: Hey, Jax!

Miles waves his hand in my face and snaps me out of my thoughts.

Jax: Huh?

Miles: Did you listen to a word I just said?

Jax: Yeah, you said...

Miles: I said that maybe this weekend we could all go bowling.

Jax: Yeah, that would be awesome!

Bianca: Cool so we're all going.

Alya: What were you thinking about?

Jax: What do you mean?

Bianca: You we're totally spacing out like 5 seconds ago.

Jax: Oh that, nothing.

Miles: Come on just tell us.

Jax: Fine, Kit has been dodging my calls for a couple of days and she doesn't respond to my texts anymore.

Alya: Maybe she's busy with schoolwork.

Jax: Maybe, but she would at least tell me that and not completely avoid me.

Bianca: When was the last time you guys talked?

Jax: A week ago.

Miles: Maybe she's just hanging out with friends.

Jax: That's even worse!

Then put my arms on the table and let my head fall on my arms.

Alya: How is that even worse?

Jax: Because I bet at least one of her friends is a guy. And if she's blowing me off for a guy then, well that's bad.

Bianca: Jackson, you're reading too much into this.

Jax: You know I don't like it when you call me that!

Bianca: That's why I'm doing it. So that you could get some sense into that dense head of yours. It's probably nothing.

Jax: Fine, but if you're wrong then I'll blame you if we break up!

Bianca: That's not going to happen Jackson.

When Bianca says that I stick my tongue out at her and everyone starts laughing.

Carly's POV
During Dance I tell Sasha everything. I mean I need some advice on what to do. How can I stop Grayson from leaving? I know that his parents won't change their minds, so how can I stop this?
