Stranger things happen all the time.... right?

We decided to go tomorrow on our search for Bella and Moksha, and when tomorrow came we set off onto the ocean to head for the coordinates that was west of Morocco. The boat was large enough to walk around in the surface and the bottom didn't smell as much like fish when we made it out to the ocean, I left the hatch door open for the wind to wash the smell out before tonight when we had to sleep down there.

The further we went from land the more worried I got.

We're actually doing this, I could feel my heart beating in my chest, shivering. We're actually going out and searching for mom. Out in the ocean where all kind of animals and fishes were swimming under our boat.

Oh god, the sharks.

I hated sharks, sharks scared me tremendously. I hope we don't see any soon.

Or any at all.

Bubba was steering the boat at the wheel, turning the large wheel easily to keep it on track. During most of the trip I kept my earbuds in and listened to my music to make the trip more interesting, and when I looked in the water I saw dolphin's following us and even jumping out of the water, arching their body to fall back in. It was a beautiful sight that I could watch for hours.

Bubba left the wheel of the boat and brought a bucket of fish, the boat even slowed down just a bit for the dolphins. He chuckled, "I'm sorry, lass. I do this every time I come out here, I like to feed the dolphins."

My eyes lit up and I jumped, "You feed the dolphins!?"

The captain chuckled, "Of course I do, and I do it every other week. These dolphin's always follow the boat and keep the sharks away from the fish that I try to catch. It's a mutual benefit. I always give 'em there share."

"That's actually..." Chad stared at the man with a small look of confusion. "Quite smart."

"I'm going to feed 'em today to keep the sharks away in case something happens," He took a fish out and threw it into the water, and I watched a dolphin jump up and snatch it. It was an awesome sight. I giggled, "Can I try??"

"No, Lyla," Chad shook his head. "You're not touching dead fish."

"This fish is safe," Bubba said to assure him. "Come, lass. The dolphin's will appreciate your kindness."

I grabbed excitedly, even looking past grabbing the slimy surface, somehow this didn't disgust me. Or I was just so excited to feed the dolphins, throwing the fish into the water. The mammal grabbed it before it hit the water, and I yelped and giggled like a little school girl.

Chad chuckled at the sight, "Now you're going to smell like fish."

"I don't care," I smiled. "This is so fun!" And I threw another fish.

And when one dolphin got close I reached out to touch it, only managing to touch it by the tips of my fingers. I jumped and giggled again like a small child, and we continued to feed them until there was no more fish left in the bucket. The dolphins continued to jump happily and even make high squealing noises. I guess that meant they were happy.

I washed my hands in the water and Bubba returned to the wheel and sped the boat up. The mammals even followed the boat with energy.

At least I didn't have to worry about sharks.
