The Tour

Meis was full of energy and was just like any other normal boy. I would do many things with him, like play small games and tell him stories that was from my world to pass the times. He liked the stories that were actually movies, especially the action movies I would tell him about. I would have to explain most things since he didn't comprehend, but overall he listened to every bit.

As I sat on his bed with him by my side everything was going well until the door to him room opened, and a grumpy, tired voice entered the room.

"Meiisss," The voice groaned as a fifteen-year boy sauntered in. "Stop taking my telescope. It's mine..."

The fifteen-year-old boy was an average size, he was slender, and his hair the color of a starless night sky and his tired eyes was brown. His clothes was rustled like he just woke up and found out his telescope was missing, he made his mission to get it although he was exhausted.

"I was going to bring it back," Meis held his head over the side of the bed to look at the boy who was getting his telescope of the balcony, turning to walk out of the room. "There is not even a scratch on it, Siphon."

"Better not be–"

He looked up and saw me and his eyes widened, and his grip on his telescope tightened. I wondered if there was something wrong with him, and I almost asked what was wrong until he spoke. "Meis, w-who is in your room?"

Meis lifted his head and smiled, "Hey name is Lyla. Syphrus brought her, and mom likes her! She's cool, isn't she? She's my friend also."

"That is a beautiful telescope," I said with a smile to Siphon. "Where did you get it?"

"Uh..." He looked down at his telescope and them back up at me. "My... mom."

Why was he so nervous? Maybe it was because I was a stranger. "It's still a cool telescope. Do you want to join us?"

"No!" Meis shouted. "Then you will have to go back to the beginning of the story!"

"It is a good story and he has just as much of a chance to listen to the story as you do," I waved Siphon over slowly. "You can join us if you want, and if the story is boring you can just take a nap through it. Win-Win."

Siphon gently put the telescope on the floor and walked over to the bed that we were, climbing to his brother's side and sitting down. He stared at me with his brown eyes and after blinking a couple times, he remained quiet.

I started the story from the beginning much to Meis's disappointment, but as the story continued they listened raptly. They seemed to enjoy it, everyone loved a good scary story.

Poor Meis had fallen asleep before the end of the story. He fell asleep with his head on my lap, an innocent act on his part. His head literally fell forward and landed on my lap, and I just giggled.

Meis was an innocent little boy.

"Where did you come from?" Siphon now asked me, his own eyes full of wonder. I answered the same way I did his little brother, mother, and older brother. "I came from a different place off the island. I am here to try to get my brother and friend out of the dungeon. I am looking for my mother."

"So Syphrus brought you here?"

I nodded again, "he did."

"He doesn't bring girls here, I was confused," he said honestly. "And the girls that rarely do come around are not as pretty."

That complement made me smile, "Thank you," I even played with a strand of Meis's hair. "I should be returning to my guess room, Syphrus might return any secon–"
