The forest here turned out to be a hot, humid jungle. The dirt underneath my flip flops were wet and I could feel it on my feet, which made me want to shiver at the strange sensation. If I knew that I was going to walk through the jungle I would have worn boots instead of these, but they seemed like a good idea at the time.

I heard a lot of things chirping and moving throughout the jungle, I heard monkeys and even saw some swinging through the trees. I was trying my best to follow the tracks but after minutes of walking through the woods they disappeared, which wasn't a good thing for me. When I turned around to head back the sight of the beach was gone, so there was no heading back.

So I just continued to walk forward and pray that I would find them.

I was observing everything as I stepped through the forest, even stopping for a second to look at a strange plants. The trees and the plants had strange natural carvings in them, something that a person couldn't do. It was strange and I found myself interested on what these strange markings meant, I even traced my finger over the marks. It felt like it was a part of the tree. It felt so natural.

All the trees here has this.

Why?

How?

I continued to walk a little further before I saw an animal with the same markings on them. The monkeys, most birds had them when others didn't, and the insects. The air here was different as well and I found it a bit hard to breath, but this was fixed when I just slowed down my walking to conserve energy.

Now I was just walking blindly into a dangerous jungle trying to look for Chad and Bubba. I was hoping that no predator would come out and get me, I did not want that to happen–

Then there was a strange rustling in the bushes.

I immediately paused.

Oh, god... what was that?

Please don't let it eat me, please don't let whatever is in the bushes eat me... I turned my head to the bushes that was moving. My heart was in my throat, and my palms was getting sweaty. What a weird time for palms to get sweaty.

The bushes moved more fiercely again.

This made me shiver. Why was I just standing here when something was about to eat me?

Then there was a small cute noise.

Then the fierce predator came out of the bushes.

My fear slowly slid away and I smiled.

It was a small, tiny, adorable little elephant that was the side of a medium size dog. It just stepped out and walked like a large elephant would, but this one was smaller... way smaller.
