Unexpected

I was finally able to see my brother later that day when the sun was still up, but I knew it wouldn't be long until the sun would go down again. My brother and Bubba was dressed in new clothing, but in the strange tunics and trousers. Chad's tunic was dark when Bubba's was white and all the buttons were buttons up when Chad took to curtesy to unbutton some of the strange colored buttons.

Yet they looked more clean and better than what they looked like in jail.

"So it seems you got along with the family," Chad didn't sound happy as all three of us stood in the hallway outside of the guest rooms that they were assigned. Syphrus had gotten me and led me here, but once he saw Chad he walked away.

I shrugged at his question, "They are kind people, and Syphrus saved me from a wild animal and brought me here. After letting me see you in the dungeon he brought me to a guest room to sleep, and I started talking to his brothers and mom. They are really nice and I like them."

"We need to get out of here," Said Chad. "Off this island."

Bubba gave Chad a look, "Did you not hear the lass? She agreed to search for you mother if you joined her for a small beverage. She's is the Queen here, she could help you well."

"I do not trust anyone here, not even that white haired fool," Chad crossed his arms angrily.

"Blueish white," I muttered, correcting him. "His hair has light blue in it... it's not all the way white."

"What does it matter?" He snarled more at the situation than at me. "I don't like it. How can he be their kid if he looks nothing like them?"

"Him and his family wants to help us, don't hate on them so soon," I said in there defense. "Besides you attacked their child. Of course they would have ill feelings."

He gave me a stern, questioning look then. "What is up with you and that white haired guy?"

I was wondering what he meant at first before it finally hit me, I shook my head quickly. "Nothing is happening. He is a good guy, Chad, and he's done nothing to hurt me. In fact he's helped me in getting you out of jail. Both you and Bubba."

"I didn't like the way you two looked at each other when he grabbed your arm. What is really going on between you and that guy?"

"Nothing," I repeated. "Honestly, Chad. Nothing is happening."

"Do not worry about what the lass is doin'," Bubba butted in. "If she was doing something would it be yer business?"

Chad made a small strange angry rumble down in his throat. "I still don't trust it here."

"I am with the lass on this," Bubba said, leaning towards me and whispering. "I've been locked up in a cell with this lad for days, and I thought I was talkative."

Chad shouted. "Hey!"

"Once we find mom and Moksha we can try to return back to our world," I planned out loud to the two. "We may even find some of mom's crew."

"I will be looking for a way off this island while the search goes on," Chad turned and went to walk down the hallway down and unknown location. "I want off this island as soon as possible."

I sighed at Chad's attitude, not knowing why he was angry at everything. He might be mad at the situation. Chad always got mad easily, especially in situations he couldn't control.

I sighed when I saw him walk off, and Bubba look at me with an unsure glance. "He is a hot head, isn't he?"

"In situation he doesn't understand he does, I just hope he doesn't get himself in any trouble."
