"You like to lie."
Words spoken to me
when I told the truth I saw.
You never understood perceptions, did you?
Maybe I should just forget it all.
take responsibility.
fix this myself.
but maybe you're right
when you said
"You like to lie."
When am I going home?
I need to make these final days last,
before I find out no one really wants me here
Dad was always right about me.
I just like attention
"You like to lie."
Protection is a thing always provided for myself,
but sixteen year old sheltered kids are naive
so someone could hurt me 73 times and I
would still return.
You taught me codependency like
without you I would never succeed.
You taught me fear,
like it would forever be my best quality.
You never once cared about me
It was always about the control you could receive.
"You like to lie."
You said this to me too many times.
I think its time you realize,
that you like to lie.
-No longer in your control.
