Diana stared at the tickets in her hand, gobsmacked by the fact that she even possessed them. Her fingers ran over the thick paper, testing to see if they were real and not fathoms of her imagination.
Her stomach churned with a mixture of anxiety and glee as she smiled to herself reading over the information on the tickets for the twelfth time that day. "5SOS MEET AND GREET" printed on them. She just couldn't believe it, after years and yearsof being a fan of these boys she cared for and idolized so dearly she would be meeting them. She recalled the random message from the boy's management on twitter, telling her she had been selected for a free meet and greet due to her "dedication"to the band as a fan, including two tickets. One for her and one for a guest. Logically she had thought it was a scam in the beginning, that maybe the account had been hacked. But even now as she held the two tickets in her hand she still couldn't bring herself to believe it was true.
"Diana, they're not going anywhere," her best friend, Elizabeth sneered which only made Diana roll her eyes in return. Elizabeth sat down next to her, peering over her shoulder at the tickets as well. She pushed some of her sandstone red hair behind her ear. Her eyes skimmed over the information before she gently nudged her friend with her shoulder. "We have to start getting ready it starts in like three hours," she pointed out. Diana nodded in acknowledgement and set the tickets to the side, getting up.
"What should I wear?" She asked as she wandered into her closet, looking through her clothes with an unsatisfied frown on her face. She knew she should have bought a new outfit for the occasion. Elizabeth walked over peering through her wardrobe. She pulled off a cropped pink noodle strapped shirt, and a pair of black leggings handing them to Diana with a smile.
"Pair this with your black converse," she suggest as Diana's eyes flickered from the outfit up to her best friend uncertainly.
"This is..this is gonna show a lot of stomach," She pointed out as Elizabeth picked up her own clothes she had picked out earlier, reexamining her choice. Elizabeth gave her a confused expression, lowering the jeans she had been scrutinizing.
"So?" she asked which only made the small frown on Diana's lips expand. She sighed and folded the jeans over her arm, her other free hand on her hip as she gave Diana a slightly annoyed look. "They're not gonna care about whether your stomach is showing or not Di." Diana gave her an unconvinced look but none the less walked to her bathroom to change into her clothes. She knew regardless of how much she protested, Elizabeth wouldn't rest until she wore the outfit. Sometimes she believed that Elizabeth was her confidence personified, considering she had little to none. Elizabeth was always there to tell Diana she looked beautiful and make her feel good about her body, while Diana would just look at it uncomfortably.
She sighed closing the bathroom door behind her before taking off the old t-shirt she had slept in putting on a strapless bra and slipping on the cropped shirt. She kicked off her polkadot pajama shorts and shimmied into the leggings as she hoisted them up her body. She took a second to analyze her appearance in the mirror. Diana was not completely unsatisfied with her build. She admired her butt since there was plenty of it, and her plump things that matched with it. However what she had in ass she lacked for in bust which annoyed her more than anything. She turned to the side, noticing the leggings had slimmed out her stomach, making it appear flatter than it really was. She rubbed her hand gently over the small bump of it that was left when she relaxed but disappeared as she sucked in her stomach.
Turning around, she noticed the rolls of fat on her lower back popped out ever so slightly from the hem of the shirt, moving her brown locks behind her shoulders to try and shield it as much as possible. She decided she wasn't mad with the look and began putting on her make up.
