Angel of Pein

chapter eleven

Scarlett's Pov

        I whimpered as I, yet again, cut myself on the paper. "Konan it hurts, Why can't I do it like you. Yours are perfect and white for that matter, mine are screwed up and have patches of red (from my blood) all over them." 

        Konan chuckled as I threw the now blood covered paper flower (at least that is what it is supposed to be) on the floor, crossed my arms, and started to pout. "Here try again we will make something easy how about a piano?"

        "ok"

        Again we began folding until I yelped and stuck my pointer finger into my mouth trying to get the bleeding to stop. Konan got on the floor on her knees in front of me so she was level with me because I was sitting on the bed, "Let me see."  She reached up and slowly pulled my finger out of my mouth leaving a trail of blood with it "You got your self pretty good this time." Konan walked to the bathroom as I stuck my finger back into my mouth and started to suck on it again.  When she came back she got in the same position and took a wet wash cloth, pulled out my finger again as even more blood ran down my chin, she wiped off my finger and then wrapped the wash cloth around it tightly. Next she took the other wash cloth and started to wipe the blood from my chin, just as she reached my lips the door swung open and Pein walked in "Hey Scarlett you said y-" he cut off short as he saw us it must have looked weird Konan finished wiping the blood from my lip then got up and gave me a kiss on the forehead                                         

        "There all better I will leave you two now." Before Konan closed the door she turned and gave me a wink. "Well that was weird." I said nervously twitching.        

        "Are you and Konan Um how do I say this t-" "NO! Sorry I mean no we were doing origami and I kept on cutting myself and then I cut myself really bad so she fixed it." 

        "Ok well are you ready?"

        "Oh, I almost forgot. Yepp"

        Pein lead the way out of the hideout and down to a beautiful lake with a waterfall he then sat down near the water's edge. "What are you doing I thought we were going to train."

        "Change of plans your hands are all cut up, we do not want them to get worse so sit down." I sat next to him where he had patted the ground. He then reached over and grabbed my hand pulling it into his lap. A light blush dusted my cheeks at the action but soon faded as I saw that he was wrapping my fingers. Once he had wrapped both hands I went to pull them back only to have him grab the one that was on his side, blushing again I looked out at the water.

~Later~

        It was starting to get dark and we still had not gone back nor moved, My eyes were starting to droop and I leaned over onto Pein not realizing I had until I felt him wrap his arm around my back still holding tight to my hand. The wind picked up a little and I shivered Pein pulled me closer to him."I am sorry we should get back it is getting too cold for you in that clothing."

        Instead of agreeing I unfolded my wings and wrapped them around us soon falling into a peaceful darkness with no nightmares for the first time in years.
