chapter four

Scarlett's pov

        "Itachi I am sorry that I did that to you I didn't mean too. Sometimes I get carried away and unconsciously I start showing you those horrible things its part of what the eyes do." I said resting my head against Itachi's soft hair.

        "It is fine I understand. You are a very good fighter you know that right?"

        "So I have been told" i said with a smile on my face.

        "Come we should get inside it is getting dark and it looks like it is going to rain."

        Itachi stood up and held out his hand for me but I did not take it. "Don't go I want to know what you look like and the rain is the best way to do that."

        "What are you talking about you have seen me all day."

        "No I haven't I am blind I can see with sound waves though, so when it rains I can see everything in detail."

        "If you can not see then how did you know were I was when we were fighting and how do you know not to run into stuff even though you have never been here before?" Itachi asked confused.

        "I can see chakra signatures, everything gives off a signature that is different then all others I can see those differences and am able to tell what is what. I can even see you if you mask your chakra because all you are doing is covering I see around those coverings it comes in handy quite often."

        Just then the rain started Itachi sat down next to me and looked at me, his face is very handsome. "What color is your hair?" 

        "Black."

        "Your eyes, what color are they?"

        "Depends, in sharingan mode t-"

         "I know what the sharingan looks like I mean with out it."

        "Black.... How do you know what the sharingan looks like, you just said that you are blind."

        I crawled into his lap so that I was sitting sideways my head resting on his shoulder, I could was still able to see his face. "I was not always blind I was turned blind but that is a story for another day right now I just want to sit here and memorize your features."

        

Itachi's pov

         I stared down at the girl that I held tightly in my arms why is it that i am acting like this towards her it is almost as if she made all the hate go away. Her face had relaxed and I'm assuming that her eyes were closed because her breathing had become much lighter. "Scarlett are you awake?"

        No answer came, yepp she is out. Standing up I pushed her face into my chest so she would not wake from the rain hitting it and walked inside the base. As I walked by the lounge room I saw everyone there, stepping into the room all heads snapped towards me. "What the fuck did you do to the girl?" Hidan yelled at me. 

        The both of us were soaking yet from the rain and I was starting to feel the cold so she must have been too. I ignored everyones confused faces and looked at Deidara, he would take care of her so I could go and get changed. "It started to rain."

        His eye widened and i gave him a slight nod letting him know that I know she is blind. "Ok I will take her to bed." 

        Deidara grabbed her from my arms and walked to his room I watched until they were out of sight and then left for my own room.
