Angel of Pein

chapter six

Scarlett's pov

         "Deidara get up we have a mission." Sasori said coming into the room.

        "Five more minutes Danna." Deidara mumbled pulling me closer and burying his face into my hair.

        I giggled and rolled over so I was facing him. "Come on get up I want to go for a mission."

        "Ok, ok I'm up." 

        About thirty minutes later the three of us were walking to Pein's office Sasori knocked on the door and then opened it when an "enter" was heard. As the doors came open I saw the chakra signatures of Konan and Pein. "Alright here is your mission." Pein said handing something, I assumed was a scroll, to Sasori. After that we all turned around and went to walk away. "Scarlett you will not be going on this mission." Pein spoke before we could get out the door.

        Deidara grabbed my hand as I turned back around to face the two people. "Why not? I mean that's not fair I clearly beat Itachi yesterday."

        "I would like to train you, as would Konan" he stated simply.

        Now I was getting angry, I did not need to be trained I could take care of my self. Sensing my anger Deidara's grip on my hand tightened as he too now turned around." Leader-sama I am not sure that is a good idea. I don't want anyone to get hurt." 

        "Like I said before I won't let anyone hurt her."

        That was it for me I lunged towards Pein only to be stopped by Deidara grabbing ahold of my waist. "I'M NOT SOME CHILD THAT NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AFTER I CAN MORE THEN MANAGE TO KEEP MYSELF SAFE YOU STUPID KNOW IT ALL IDIOT!"

Pein's pov

        I raised an eyebrow at Deidara and glanced at the girl that just had an out burst and was now panting like it had taken it all out of her. "Sissy he knows you can take care of your self he just wants to teach you so those types of things won't happen again." Scarlett flinched at his words a scared expression covering her facial features.

        'What kind of things wont happen again? Why does she look so scared at the mention of it? Scarlett looked at me as if for confirmation to which I nodded my head and gave her a small smile causing Konan stare at me with wide eyes. "Well all right then. I will be in the training grounds when you are ready." With that said she walked out of the room with the others, except for Konan.

        "You like her don't you?" Konan asked looking me straight in the eyes.

        "No." I said as calmly as I could, did I like her? I started to make my way to the training grounds with Konan in tow but stopped short when I saw Scarlett sitting in the middle of the field. Her hair flowed down her back and the sun hit her at just the right angle making her glow she truly did look beautiful. Yes, yes I did like her, but that is not something I am going to be telling or let anyone know. This 'like' I had towards her was just a faze because I thought she was powerful and I would grow out of it.
