Dread hit me like a ton of bricks as I walked up the steps. My brothers, even little Tommy stood waiting for me. The tap of Tommy's little shoe and his crossed arms told me I was in trouble. It was kinda funny though. I laughed in my head as Tommy scrunched up his face and tapped his foot faster.

"Took you long enough to get home. Did you get everything you wanted?" Jordan said with an edge in his voice.

"Don't try to be hard on her Jordan. We all know you can't sound, or for that matter look mad." William looked at me through his glasses. "Find everything ok Jessica? I hope you did because that's the last time you go without letting someone know."

"I thought Lilly told you where we were going!" I stormed up to them. "Tommy why are you mad?"

"Jordan said you was in trouble and we all are mad at you." Tommy said in a cute little dismissive voice. He shrugged, "I'm not mad anymore. I'm gonna go see what Roxy is doing, and put a mouse in her pocket."

The twins looked at each other than at me. "Don't do it again." Tyler said before he dashed after Tommy.

James just grinned at me and took off after Tyler yelling, "Don't forget the video camera!"

The door slammed shut leaving me alone with blond dork and four eyes. Great, just great! I looked at them both with a weak smile.

"So am I grounded or what. I really want to go warn Roxy, or see her reaction." I shuffled my feet and moved my bag to rest better on my shoulder.

Jordan rolled his eyes and stomped inside. I heard something about hard-headed women and pink hair as he left grumbling.

William shook his head slowly and pushed his glasses up. Dose he even have eyes? What color are they really? Dam glasses make him look freaking scary.

"So...Umm... Can I go inside now?" I asked.

William tilted his head to the side. "You'll ride to school and back with me until father gets you a car." He ran his fingers through his dark hair.

Something I hadn't seen him do before.

"O. K?"

"Have you even rode a bike before?" William's voice shook from holding in laughter. I guess my face was just that funny. I played with a loose string on my bag. "Well?"

"I rode one with training wheels when I was six. Dose that count?"

He just laughed as he walked inside. Dam guys! I hate them all! The sound of a motor being started up drug my attention to the gates at the end of the drive. Who ever it was raced off on their bike before I could see who it was.

"Probably one of William's biker gang friends." I shook my head. "Couldn't be I don't think that one has friends!"

"You talk to yourself a lot!"

"Oh shit..... fuck!" I jumped three feet in the air, or felt like it anyway. "Where did you come from? Aren't  you putting a mouse in Roxy's pocket?"

Tommy looked up at me. "Yeah, she just took it outside. She ain't scared of nothing!"

Yep, the old yeller movie came to mind! I giggled and patted him on the head. "I'm going to my room. Oh, and it's, isn't scared of anything. I think, I'm not good at school ether."

"Can I come?" He pipped up. His eyes beamed up at me with that puppy dog look.

"Sure kiddo, come on." I walked to my room where we met the twins fussing over a video camera.

"No, you gotta push this button first or it won't look right!"

"Stop being an ass Tyler I know what I'm doing."

"Shut up... Give it here I'll show you!"

O.M.G. Could they both go a day without their little spats? This crushes my whole Oran Academy Host Club vibe, or throws up the episode of the twins big fake fight. Yeah, I dont think these two are tricky like that.

"Ok guys just stop. Sit that thing down and come on in." I opened my door, and three happily smiling boys walked into my dark pink and maroon room. I wonder, when did I get maroon carpet? People work fast around here.

"So I hope you guys like Rock, cuz that's on my playlist this evening." I plug-in my phone and turn up the jams. The game systems are out already thanks to Tyler who sat waiting for the Xbox to kick up.

"Zombie killing or racing?" James asked.

They all looked at me. "I really don't care. Right now I got some writing to do so you guys play first I'll take on the winner."

Both of them said, "Cool!" at the same time and it was kinda creepy. Especially if you aren't use to twins. Sometimes they do the weird talking together thing and other times they do the cute brotherly love thing. Mostly they argue about everything.

The rest of the evening passed by just like that. Tommy stood over my shoulder as I wrote my little stories, and the twins played games. They would push each other over at times, but nothing bad. We all soon went to bed the twins had to carry Tommy out. I think so far Tommy is my favorite.

Beep...beep...beep...

"What the! Oh, dang." I reached over and tapped my alarm off. That's weird the boys usually wake me up before my alarm goes off. "Shit... That means I'm late. My waffles!..."

I hurriedly get dressed and grab my bag and phone as I rush out the door. I reach the dining room, but no one was there.

"You are up early! Sit down the waffles will be out in a minute. Any kind you want special?" Roxy was setting plates on the table and her big smile brightened the room.

"No, Roxy. I'm sure anything your sister cooks will be perfect!"

"Good morning, Roxy, Jessica." William said as he entered the room. He sat at his plate and took out a small black book and a pen. He scribbled something before putting them both in his pocket.

"Good morning!" I laughed as I heard the rest of the boys running down the hall.

"What the.. Why did you get up so early." Tyler and James whined in that creepy twin talk.

Tommy sat beside me and smiled calmly. Jordan came busting in, red in the face. He was upset and I could give a couple of guess at why. My thoughts were cut short by Roxy and her sister who set down mounds of different flavored waffles and syrups.

My mouth watered. Tommy grabbed a fork in each hand and the room was silent. We each piled waffles high on our plates and covered them in syrup and butter. Our mouths stayed packed with food for at least thirty minutes.

"Let's go." William pushed his chair back and grabbed my hand pulling me up.

Tommy wrapped his arms around me in a quick hug. "Bye sis!"

All the boys looked from me to Tommy and back to me. Shit, I forgot to brush my hair. I turned red and patted my own head. I didn't like the, all eyes on me feeling. Even if I knew them all so well, I could guess them by name just by their foot steps. This is bad.

William half drug me to his bike out front and slammed a helmet on my head. "We got a stop to make before school so just hold on tight and don't let go." He swung his leg over the bike and slammed the kickstand up. He jammed his helmet on and started the bike up. "Well, get on and hold on to me."

I looked at him weird or something because he softened to me a little. He held out his hand and spoke with a soft tone. "Just trust me. I won't let anything happen to you, I promise."

"Well, as long as you promise." I grabbed his hand and swung on the bike. As soon as my arms were around his waist he took off like a bolt of lightning. My scream turned into laughter and I could feel his chest vibrate as he chuckled.

So four eyes can laugh, i thought to myself. I wonder why we gotta make a stop, and why we are going to the poor side of town?
