William met me outside after school and rushed me to his bike. I barely get my helmet on, and wrap my arms around his waist, before he cranks up the bike. We left the school yard spinning tires. We make it home before anyone else. William pushes me inside and closes the door. "Come on." He ordered as he grabbed my hand walking to the staircase.
I haven't been up stairs but I know Tommy, William, and the twin's rooms were up there. We reach the top and turn to the right. William pulls me into a room with dark blue walls and matching carpet. Posters of bikes and a couple of cars hung on the walls.
He pushed me into a chair by his desk, that was littered with college papers. A calendar pinned to a message board was filled with dates and the letters FN. I wonder what FN means? There is also dates with the latter's RW. What is RW? William must be weird or something. It could be girls initials or something.
I look over at William who is pacing the floor like he was trying to calm down. "What's up bro. You got something bothering you?"
"Yeah I do." He threw both hands up and took his glasses off for the first time. My jaw hit the floor. "Look you need to stay away from Lance. He's bad news and he's trouble." He throws his glasses on the bed.
"Um... I didn't start that remember the party, YOU took us to." I said rolling my eyes. "What did Jordan mean by gang members anyway?"
"It's not a gang it's a fight club. You wouldn't understand." He shook his head.
Oh, I understood alright. FC on the calendar is explained now. The fight club back home was brutal and inhumane. Guys beating each other to a pulp and sometimes killing each other. Wow, I can't believe William is in to that sort of stuff. The horror on my face must have shown a little too much.
"It's not what you think!" He holds out his hands. "I only do it because it helps take the stress away. I'd never hurt anyone I promise." He scratched his head and looked at me with his gray eyes. Gosh I'm not use to seeing him without his glasses.
"Yeah. So. You're in a fight club with Lance and you say it's not that bad, after you tell me to stay away from Lance because he's dangerous and bad news. What's the deal William." I point at his glasses. "Why are you not wearing those? Don't you need them?"
He shakes his head, and sits on his bed to stare at me. "No I don't need them, but they cover blacks eyes if I get one. It's just glass in a rim. Damn things don't fit right anyway." He puts his face in his hands and mumbles. "No one but you know and I don't even know why I'm telling you."
I heard Jordan's jeep pull up. The boys were laughing and joking like usual. "William, thanks for looking out for me." I got up and hugged him. He stiffened and tapped me on the back. "You're a great big bro, but I can handle myself and I promise I won't get in to trouble. You on the other hand should worry about your stalker Lilly."
I let him go and head for the door. His voice stops me for just a second. "I kinda like my stalker."
I left his room laughing and ran to mine. Tommy was sitting on my bed with tears in his eyes. Oh no, more brother drama. What now? I sit down beside Tommy and pit my arm around his tiny shoulders. I really can't handle Tommy crying.
"What's wrong Tommy? You Okay?" I almost started tearing up when he sniffled.
"I gotta break our date tonight. Dad is bringing his wife home, and Roxy says we can't have a movie night, because they want to spend time with us." He runs out of breath and looks up at me.
Oh, he's so cute I could pinch his cheeks and kiss his forehead. I'm not the mother hen type though so, "Cheer up kid. We will just watch a movie tomorrow night instead. I think you will like it. Have you ever seen, The 300, it might be to gory and scary for you but it's manly."
He scrunched his nose up. "Can we watch Spiderman instead."
"Sure kid I like that one too." I ruffled his hair and he smiled up at me. "Go get cleaned up, our parents will be here any minute and I don't want you looking like a rag doll."
"Okay sis, but only for you." He jumps off my bed and takes off down the hall at a run.
I shut my door and belly flop on my bed. My phone buzzes. Ugh, not now! I throw my phone at my pillow and hurry to get changed for dinner with my parents.

We all stood waiting at the door, waiting for the limo door to open. When it did a loud squeal erupted from my mother. Her brown hair was now white. Not blond, or gray, or silver, but white! Like, snow-white. I giggled in my head. Jack followers her out of the limo a phone glued to his head. His salt and peppered hair was ruffled. I'm guessing that was because of my mother, who was now walk-running to us in her heels up the steps. I can't stand this fake love thing is throwing my way.
I grin and hold Tommy in front of me. "Hi mom! Hey Jack." I called as they got closer.
My mother was a hugger and kisser. The boys did wonderful though accepting her full body hugs and kisses on each cheek. I wish I was that lucky. She covered my face with kisses and wouldn't shut up about how much she missed me. Yeah right! She was never at home with me, when we lived in the States, and nothing good ever came out of her mouth. I just wanted to go lock my self in my room and play rock music loud enough to drown out to the world.
William had his glasses back on, but I could tell he was glancing at me every so often. That made me nervous. Jack hung up his call and put his phone in his pocket.
"Hey kids." He said with a smile before he led us all into the house, were Roxy waited to take their bags in. Jack waved her away. "No bags Roxy we have to be in Dubai by 6am."
"Yes, sir master Jack." She bowed. "Dinner is ready master Jack." She added as she left for the kitchen.
"Oh, how lovely!" My mom said as she looked around. She spotted my frown. "You know Jess, over thinking sometimes mean you have to pee. Go fix your face love, a little make-up won't hurt you one bit."
I've never wanted to kill anyone so bad in my life! The boys must have had the same thoughts. All of them especially Tommy had frowns on their faces.
Dinner with my rude, uptight, spoiled mom was gonna be lovely! Just lovely. I turned to go to my room, when Tyler grabbed my hand stopping me. James took my other and they both smiled at me.
At least I have them right?
