Forever and Always

Ch. 24 Dream or Reality

My jaw dropped. Like I just liarally started drooling. My heart stopped, only to start back beating so fast I thought I would faint.

Abs, my Abs! Just said he loved me and wants to be my forever and always! He said I'm his already. O.M.G! Like O.M.G. What should I say?

I squeeze his hand, and clear my throat. I'm freaking speechless! His eyes won't let go of mine. I gotta say something. Anything!

"You owe me a pizza." Not that!

He smiled at me. "Anything you want baby."

My heart is going all mushy. I can't say the words. I try, but I just can't!

I touched his cheek and softly move my hand to the back of his neck. His eyes are watching me. His shirtless chest looks so yummy right now!

I pull him closer, and before I can kiss him he suddenly pulls me to him. Our lips meet and sparks fly. I feel like I'm on fire. My hands travel to his shoulders and onto his chest. I can feel his muscles roll as he wraps his arms around me. It's so amazing.

How I ended up in his lap, I couldn't tell you. Abs is so confusing! Do I love him though? After everything we have been through?

I pulled back and looked him dead in the eye. My panting the only thing we hear in the car right now. I opened my mouth to say something when a buzzer went off.

"Shit!" Lance whispered, as he grabbed the buzzer. "Babe I gotta go. I'm up in five." He grabbed a shirt from the back seat. "You can watch the race and after that, we will go home. I don't care if I win or lose now."

I smiled and helped him put his shirt on. "Home sounds good." He kissed me one more time before letting me out, the driver door.

William and Lilly waited for me by the corvette. Lilly looked comfortable leaned back on William , with his arms around her waist. His glasses lay on the dash, and his dark hair shone black in the sunlight.

"Well let's go watch him win!" Lilly giggled pulling away from william.

I smiled and we all walked over to the drag strip. Lance pulled up to the turnout station. The gates between us and the track kept me from running over to the car.

Abs looked at me while his rival in a 2015 mustang burned out to the line. I mouthed, I Love You. I didn't say it out loud but he seen the words. His face took on a smirk, as he mouthed the same back.

"Awe! Look at you two!" Lilly squealed. "Love always wins!" She wrapped her arms around William's neck. "Don't ever try to split them up again!" He didn't get to respond before she locked her lips with his.

I waved as Abs made it to the starting line. The light was flashing red. The skyline was quiet compared to the mustang, and both drivers looked ready.

It was hot. The little waves of heat blurred the track in front of the the cars. The light flashed yellow now. You could hear the cars being put into gear. My heart raced along with the motors.

"He won't loose." William said behind me.

"He better not." I grumbled.

The light hit green, both cars tore off the starting line. The loud roar of the crowd drowned in the sound of motors. It was over in a matter of seconds. The rush of adrenaline was breath taking. The mustang was no match for the blue skyline.

The crowd roared to life, applauding and screaming. Lilly and William pulled me back to the parking spot to wait on Lance.

I couldn't tell if this was a dream or real. A green 86 Camaro pulled in beside us, leaving just enough space for Lance to park. William didn't say a word, just opened his door and pushed us inside the Corvette roughly.

"Lock the doors now, and what ever happens don't open them." William growled under his breath.

The skyline pulled up, people following and taking pictures. Lance's smile disappeared at the sight of the Camaro. Lilly and I watched through the windows. Lance got out of the skyline with a harsh face. William looked ready to kill also. They stood on each side of the car. The guy inside didn't look fazed.

He tried to open his door, but William kicked it back shut. The guy let both windows down. "Now boys, this is no way to treat your own pop."

William growled, "You're nothing to me, my father is dead."

Lance pulled his shirt off and tossed it on top of the skyline. "You never should have come back old man."

The guy faked a shocked look, "And miss getting to know my son's. I cant stay away and you know that."

Lilly whispered to me, "I think that guy is saying he is their dad. I cant really tell."

I'm tempted to get out, but the look Lance throws at us changed my mind. This time I'll do what I'm told.

Lilly screamed and I bolted back up to the window. Lance was dragging the guy out of the window. William must be on the ground because I couldn't see him. Lance finally had the guy out of the car and pushed up against it. He balled his fist and hit the guy in the stomach, followed by blow after blow until the guy fell to the ground.

William inched up the car holding his arm and shaking his head. Lance now knelt over the guy hitting him in the face over and over again. William was yelling something, but we couldnt hear anything clearly. The guy was super bloody now. Did Lance just kill him?

William grabbed Lance by the collar and pulled him off the guy. "Go now. Meet us at the exit."

Lance nodded and jumped into the skyline, as William got in with us. He started the car, and snatched our seat belts on.

Lilly whispered, "What was all that?"

William looked in the back glass. "That doll, is the end to all of Lance's trouble if he dies.

We met Lance at the exit and Lilly let me out. I jumped in the car with Abs and felt a rush of emotions flow through my head.

He looked at me, "So babe, will you be my Forever and Always, or do I have to beg?"

I felt tears prick my eyes, "Just drive. You still owe me a pizza, but yes. Forever and always baby. I love you.
