Today is the day of my 18th birthday and im sooooo happy to be sharing it with my best friend. and best boyfriend! I woke up to the smell of my favorite pancakes, chocolate chip. I looked down at the edge of my bed which was cushioned white chest thing you could store stuff in and sit on. There were balloons and a box with a card on it. I got all excited! i first had to take a picture of it and post it on instagram. I drew the string form the know it was tied in, but first read the card. It was from my parents and Josh, "Happy Birthday sweetheart, we are so proud of the young lady you have become and cant ask for a better daughter! we are blessed for you to be in our lives and cant wait for what the rest of our lives take us with you! Love Mom and Dad" I smiled so big at that and beneath that Josh put "happy birthday loser ~ Josh" i rolled my eyes. "typical older brother" i said aloud. I then opened the box and it revealed a gift cards to Forever 21, Zumiez and Pac sun! My top places to shop! i was actually very happy because i didnt really want anything. I heard a knock on my door and told them to come in. I turn around theres Jc!
J: happy birthday baby!
Y/N: thanks hun! i say and hug him, then give him a huge kiss!
J: breakfast is ready! he says wrapping his arms around my wiast pulling me close to him.
Y/N: chocolate chip pancakes?!
J: yeah! how did you know?
Y/N: my parents always make them for me on my birthday!
I put on some slippers and head down stairs. I get to the bottom of the steps and got a text from Matt.
M: Happy Birthday bestie! I hope you have an awesome day and cant wait to spend it with you! :)
Y/N: thanks matt!
M: np, just tell em whent to come over
Y/N: will do.
I continued to walk to the kitchen and my plate was already made and in my spot on the table. Everyone wished me a happy birthday and we all ate and chatted about what was happening today.
T: hey y/n?
Y/N: yeah?
T: um you know Shawn?
Y/N: yeah!
T: well hes in town right now, he has some meeting and i told him he could probably come to your party if its ok with you.
Y/N: oh yeah! i would love for him to come.
T: ok awesome, ill text him right now. what time should he come over?
Y/N: around 1
I was actually pretty happy to see Shawn, but the last time i saw him i kind of had feelings for him. Oh crap. After breakfast i went upstairs so my parents could set up the party and for me to get ready. I took a quick shower considering it was 11, i always sleep in late. i pt on some water proof make up and just let my hair all natural, since i would be getting in a pool later on. I put on an outfit over my baithing suit so i dont go walking around with just a bikini on, and after i start getting in the pool and stuff i decided to have a little dress i could slip on and off.

It was 12:45 ish so people should be showing up now! i texted Matt and told him he could head over now. I walked in the kitchen and there were some snack on the table, buffett style. And a cooler with drinks in them on the back deck. I looked over the deck and a table with a teal party cloth, ones they use for birthdays, was over a table so we could eat ate. There were also a few balloons, which is kind of weird considering im turning 18 and im basically having the same birthday i had when i was turning like 13. I went back inside and saw Jc helping my mom finish up the table filled with food!
Y/N: aww look at you helping my mom.
J: i like helping people! He said carrying a huge bowl of chips and some dip to the table
Y/N: mkay sure. I smirked.
M: i cant believe my baby is turning 18!
Y/N: mommmm. i whined
M: im sorry, i just dont want to lose you.
Y/N: im still your little girl, just more mature. I said and made my mom smile. I then heard the doorbell and ran to go open the door. I open the door and see a smiling Matt with a little box in his hand.
Y/N: MATT!! i screamed and hugged him.
M: um y/n, you just saw me yesterday.
Y/N: yeah i know, i just like, um..anyways come in.
M: well Happy Birthday!!
Y/N: thanks! he said and handed me the box.
M: you wanna open it?!
Y/N: no i will wait to open it.
M: ok thats cool
Y/N: oh and one thing, Shawn, you know Mendes is supposed to be stopping by, hes in town and Taylor invited him.
M: oh my gosh thats awesome! havent seen that kid in forever!
Y/N: yeah im excited. But the last time i saw him i had some type of feelings for him
M: oh, thats awkward.
Y/N: yeah, not really but that was before i was dating Jc.
M: oh ok. We walked into the kitchen and saw My mom, Jc, Josh and Taylor.
Mom: hey Matt, how are you doing?
M: im good, how are you.
Mom: im good. Then it was awkward silence. "well i will leave you guys here to have fun!" my mom said and went upstairs to do some work.
T: sup man.
M: hey, how you doin?
T: im good. He said and they hugged.
We started talking for a little and started snacking on some of the food. The door bell went off and we all froze.
T: thats Shawn, y/n how about you go get it!
Y/N: um ok. I said and walked to the door. I swung the door open and found a tall guy with curlyish brown hair, gorgeoud brown eyes, a huge smile with perfectly white teeth with a guitar case in his hand.
Hope you liked, have to make it in 2-3 parts for the whole birthday section. But things start to get spicy, just trust me!
